alright guys, here's what i've got i spoke with the landing owner and he said the normal rate for a galley free charter is $995, and the boat can accommodate up to 15 passengers he also said he could do better than the $995 rate and would also give a break on rental equipment if needed there were others around and i don't think he wanted to quote a dollar amount in front of them so we just need to pick a date, find out how many are in... if need be, i know a couple guys that would probably be willing to shell out the cash and join us... and yes, they are dodger fans

transferring this over from the o/t thread... one thing we need to do is take care of the crew -- they work so hard and make so littlethey usually charge $10-20 per person to enter the jackpot, with the guy with the biggest fish taking the whole potwe should agree to all enter and whoever wins, give it to the crewi always doit means a lot to themi also tip them as well, but i'll leave that up to you guysjust throwing it out therealso doesn't have to be a dodger game going on at the time as far as i'm concerned, but again i'll leave that up to you guys
Put up some dates and Ill definitely try and roll out. Been too long since Ive been out on a boat. Agree with giving the jack pot to the deck hands. I have only won once and I gave it to the guys. They were stoked. Made my day to just catch a jackpot fish...made it even better to give the cash to those hard working guys. Ill prob. just rent gear. My boat rod is missing a guide and needs repair. My only real issue is time. I work crazy healthcare hours, Coach little league on Saturdays and play baseball on Sundays. yeah, way to help rally the troops $995 for 15 people is $66 each if each guys limits out (which has been happening routinely) that's 10 rockfish per person any idea how much fish costs these days, or are you too much of a hillbilly to know? plus there's a fair chance someone might snag a seabass and/or halibut as well... perception bubba, perception
Prob is not that many regulars around. I know it's fun, I been known to spend some time in the ocean back in the day. Fish is great and it would be fun to get out in the breeze again.
