This weekend's NFL games feature 4 players which were the overall #1 pick as QBs. Palmer, Rodgers, Smith and Newton.

    Really fucking cool.

Aaron Rodgers was not a #1 pick as a QB. He famously had to wait till the next day after the 49'ers picked Alex Smith 1st.

Carson Palmer is still a Bengal at heart.

    Lol Yeah WTF?
You gotta remember Alex Smith going #1 overall that year and Rodgers sliding to the Pack backing up Favre
Al picked Fabian Washington over Rodgers , very next pick was Rodgers to GB

Thank God the Niners didn't draft Rodgers #1. Their fans would have been insufferable.

Only move that'd piss me off is to St.Louis.
However I'd still ride with the St.Louis Raiders, Cardinals don't run my shit fuck them, RAIDERS til I leave this Earth.
Not hating on any move that potentially upgrades/settles the organization and possibly brings in a wealthy investor like McCombs, so if San Antonio is the place so be it.
Very important offseason in regards to free agency.
Need to figure it out over the next month and be ready for free agency in March.

Yeah, both the Niners and the Raiders passing Rodgers was unbelievable to me and it's not even hindsight or anything.
Smith just sort of came out of nowhere in that process.
Rodgers sitting right in their backyard and neither one pulled the trigger
It made me question Rodgers myself

Exactly. I would hate to move out of California, but I'd get over it. It's called Raider Nation for a reason.

This is the only day I'm cool with a Pats' W
If both teams can't lose, tie goes to the runner ( Pats) Lol
Can't have the Chefs doin anything significant, gotta fork over the division soon here, not to say they won it, but you know what I mean
Pitt needs to win tomorrow, not likely

I was a fan of Rodgers coming out, but I never envisioned him turning into the player he is today. The thing that bothered me the most was passing on CJ for Jamarcus. I followed CJ as much as Georgia Tech fans in college...he was must see TV and I knew he was going to be a stud in the NFL. I saw a lot of Jamarcus at LSU and he was very inconsistent. He faced a very weak ND team in his last bowl game with lots of people watching and did what every good QB did that year vs ND....destroyed their secondary. When I saw people hyping up his performance in that game, I knew something bad was about to happen and of course we end up drafting him. Lol

San Diego is fine too, setting would help in free agency a bit
Las Vegas would be so Raiders.

It's the combination of passing on so many impact players that made Al's passing such a blessing to us all.
Just glad Wolf and Madden were still around to help guide Mark.
My God tho...I mean 1st ballot hall of famers CJ, Peterson, and I mean even though we didn't know Rodgers would be this good he was seen as the man for the majority of that year at least.
Passed on Desean Jackson as well, passed on Crabtree for Heyward Bey
Good God, that's enough of this discussion Lol Fuck this

Lmao. Yeah, it's fucking maddening. Thank God we've drafted well lately to ease the pain of the awful mishaps in the past.
