Makes sense, there's certainly no comparison in quality. Game speed alone is enough to put the pro level out ahead by a wide margin. Better atmosphere is really in the eye of the beholder. There are special venues and rivalries in the NFL that stand with any sport. And then the superior talent and product on the field, also a part of that atmosphere. College ball is pretty much the NFL's mini-me overall. But again, to each his own
Damn shame they didn't induct Branch while he was alive. Swann is in and has been in for so damn long..Branch should be in. More decorated individually and nearly as many rings as Swann. Name is all over the league's playoff record book..9th or 10th in all-time playoff receptions and 4th in receiving yards. Both marks better than Freddy B.'s They fucked over Branch. Can't imagine what he would've done in a pass happy league like today's, where they've lessened contact and opened it up for receivers to really thrive big time
Big Mobley Brand? https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...he-no-1-recruit-in-the-nation-commits-to-usc/ College basketball recruiting: Evan Mobley, the No. 1 recruit in the nation, commits to USC The top-rated player in the Class of 2020 will join his father, a Trojans assistant, and his brother, an incoming freshman
So, I get it. You’re richer than God, and apparently untouchable when it comes to crime (pun intended). But why sack up with someone 33 years your senior who seems to like handjobs at massage parlors. Creepy. https://pagesix.com/2019/08/05/robert-kraft-brings-new-doctor-girlfriend-to-hamptons-gala/
I don't know. Guess I'm sort of under the assumption that if you're gonna learn how to rape and assault the fairer sex, that the most important lesson is getting away with it..feels like a job for the Ivy League.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A $1.9 billion stadium being built for the NFL’s Oakland Raiders when the team moves to Las Vegas next year is being named for Allegiant Travel Co., team and company officials said Monday. RAIDERS playing @ " The Al ". Pretty solid
Allegiant has one of the worst reputations for reliability in the airline industry. Experienced this personally several times. Hopefully their money is better than their performance as an airline.
Likewise, and definitely, but Davis' goal has been consistent thus far. Been on a mission to build goodwill with the big wigs and fans in Vegas, and of course Allegiant is a Vegas based airline, so actively looking to keep business in the Vegas family. Guy has been buying an insane amount of WNBA/LV Aces' tix and taking a ton of kids from the community to games..been attending Golden Knights' hockey games for a couple years now. He's all in on getting established in LV. Will be intriguing to see what it all amounts to down the line
As expected, for better or worse, Jon Abram steals the show. RAIDER vets and Chucky getting on the kid a little about hitting too hard and roughing up teammates. We'll see what he does with live ammo against the Rams on Saturday..semi-live ammo against the Rams today in their joint practices as well, but he feels like the tone setter they wanted to build around @ the 2nd/3rd level of the defense
NFL Update@MySportsUpdate 10m10 minutes ago If Jacksonville let him go, Jalen Ramsey lists the #Titans and the Las Vegas #Raiders as "ideal" landing spots. Ramsey's ideal landing spot is more than likely just the Vegas RAIDERS, called himself an " entertainer " the other day as well. Also said to be up for the lack of state income tax in LV. He gave his hometown Titans a little love there, but they already have $ tied up @ CB and they're probably going to pay Adoree some time over the next couple years as well. The way Ramsey showed up to Jags' camp in a Brink's truck..I imagine tight-ass Tom Coughlin is angling to trade him some time in the near future and that Ramsey mapped all that out. I could see him finishing this season with the silv/black. Would love to have him on the team. They may even be willing to trade Conley to JAX given Conley's issues in the tackling department. Ramsey wasn't as good last season, but he'd be a supreme-scheme fit for Guenther's defense..press man/bump and run and a good amount of zone and coming up to make tackles/being physical with WRs after the catch. Things he's excelled at. Wouldn't mind if they spent a solid amount on him, not as easy to neutralize a corner that's stout in comparison to an edge rusher that can be chipped and neutralized by the shotgun/short/quick passing game that's so prevalent in today's game. Still only 24 years old too..same age as Gareon Conley, unbelievably. A Ramsey/Abram partnership would be the beginning of a secondary with major attitude and competitiveness. Chucky needs to reach out behind the scenes.
