"I feel like if you have a great team, and our goal is to win a championship and be the last team standing and get better each day, I think it's disrespectful towards my teammates talking about my free agency and what I'm going through," Giannis Antetokounmpo said. "So when the time is right, we're all gonna talk about it. I don't think the time is right."
Hard to believe Showtime could've had another level, but man if they had kept him and managed to have a lineup with Magic, Cap, Silk, Coop and AD we don't lose to the Sixers the second time around. We kick their ass again
Not sure how Dantley mixes with the Showtime Lakers who were one of the great passing teams ever. Ball pretty much died in AD's hands most of the time.
Yeah, why he was traded so often. However, he didn't get a chance w/Magic. I just would've liked to have seen him get the chance. Could argue that Big Game would've been a Dantley type had he not landed w/Magic
Might be wrong but I doubt that coming out of the Dean Smith system. So glad The Logo vetoed the Big Game for Aguirre trade back in the day.
On one hand, I'm with you..Dean's system made it a smooth transition for Big Game. But..on the other hand, there were a lot of guys who left Dean's system, landed in the league and couldn't wait to break free and be gunners..Jordan. We'll never know Lol That trade veto..Dr. Buss was Jerry Jones before Jerry Jones
was in a Vegas sports book w a friend and a huge bunch of LA homeboys there were SA fans outnumbering us 5-1 the homeboys were continually shouting out stuuuupid and retardeeeeed and making us laugh when that shot went in I just remembered being lifted up and spun around in a washing machine of cholo humanity lol I go 6'2" 200lbs so you can imagine how big these guys were great memory and a great night
Duncan's shot was so ridiculous that I was still sort of pissed after Fish hit his crazy shot. Shaq was still pissed too. IIRC, Kobe hit a big shot that seemed like the game winner before Duncan hit his crazy shot. Wild game
Duncan hit a midrange fade-away with Shaq all up in him. It was more improbable. My 10 year old self kicked a chair thinking the game was over
That shot was when I could no longer argue against the Spurs' fans saying that Duncan was Shaq's equal. A big man that can come out to the ball, put it on the floor and create that sort of shit is just unfair....and now we have one with a unibrow that can do that, so now it's fair I think Stephen Jackson called him " Duncan on steroids "..
0. And let the march towards title #17 begin, Lakers @ Warriors today. 0. Also representing the chances of the Dodgers winning another WS in our lives.
