This is a strange team. At one time it seemed that they got a win no matter what. They wanted a win and they took it. By hook or by crook. They just had that drive and did not believe they could be beaten. Now, they look like they know they are beaten and are going through the motions. They do not seem willing to do whatever it takes to win. This team has changed attitudes and it is very noticable.
I've kept my mouth shut through all of this stuff. One reason it feels like certain people think they know more than anyone is because instead of disagreeing with someone respectfully, it is usually greeted with an "lol no" "nope. Nice try". Normal response: "eh, I don't think so. I think he's okay against certain lefties. He actually has an OPS of .750 against lefty starters." Annoying response: "he has a .750 OPS against lefties. Sorry." Or I love when somebody says something and then the response will be "no". Implying that you are just automatically right. Scientific fact.
Right, that is annoying and sorry if I've been more of the latter than the former. But it goes both ways, I don't think it's fair if someone feels they can be mean/snarky/personal if they are being negative and make excuses for it, and same goes for positivity. I think it's lame to think you have to be positive and call people down if you are being positive. I'm not saying you think this way, I'm just spitballing. I truly am just saying I wish people would treat those who oppose someone elses views as just them trying to show a stat and trying to put things into context. I get it can be annoying if someone does it when someone says "Fuck Kemp", but I think there are a lot of good times to show an opposing view. That's a huge reason some of us post here, to have other points of view with people and see how they feel. If it was only people like me posting here I'd be bored as shit. I just don't like when people make excuses for one side and don't realize the value of what is being said in the other.
