Hawks are fucking terrible, had no idea But either way, Zo hits another three 3 pointers last night Ingram's now up to 34% from behind the 3pt line this season..it was 29% last year
I'm really liking what I see from Ingram. He seems like he can get to anywhere he wants on the floor, he's drawing double-teams and hitting open guys out of them, and his outside shot is falling. I think he's going to be really good.
still think this team is going to be really good wish there was a way to keep randle around even though he's been incosistent
I actually think MGT should trade for DeAndre Jordan.......i know WTF!!!!, but here me out. Randall/Clarkson/Zubac/Nance for Jordan - yes money works. Then sign Bron in the off season. Ball/Kuzma/Ingram/Bron/Jordan is a very strong starting 5. In know every one wants PG13, but I think he wants to stay in OKC to try to work it out, fine, it works like this: Both George and DeAndre Jordan are signed this year and next, both have a player option for next year. MGT trades for Jordan this year, signs Bron in the off season. Next year they run with those two in LA while George and Westbrook make a run at the GS next year as well. Then in 2019/20, both Jordan and George are FA and free to go where they wish. That is when MGT either resigns Jordan or signs George as a FA.
So as suspected, Nance is indeed among those on the trade block.. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...arkson-julius-randle-larry-nance-on-the-block Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reported the news Monday, noting the Lakers have made Julius Randle and Larry Nance Jr. available in potential trades. Wojnarowski also wrote "there's a mutual desire to find something sooner than later" when discussing a possible Jordan Clarkson trade even though Los Angeles was previously hoping to wait until the end of the season. Wojnarowski acknowledged the Lakers have "given up hope" of trading Luol Deng because they would also have to attach too many draft picks for another team to take on the "full balance of the $37 million owed." Wojnarowski predicted the Lakers will have to use the waive and stretch to clear the cap space Deng's contract is occupying with the only way to avoid it being a situation in which he was "so desperate to leave Los Angeles before season's end to sign elsewhere on a minimum deal that he'd forfeit the $18.8 million on the 2019-20 season of his contract and accept a buyout." Los Angeles is 12-27 and going nowhere fast this season, although the future is still bright with a young core and the possibility of attracting free agents this offseason if it clears the necessary cap space. LeBron James immediately comes to mind, especially since he owns multiple houses in the Los Angeles area. Any team that adds James instantly becomes a contender considering he is a four-time league MVP and three-time champion who has been to the last seven NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. He has a player option on his contract for the 2018-19 season, as does Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George. They can both exercise the options and become free agents, giving the Lakers high-profile players to target in an effort to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-13 season. George—a California native—even said as recently as Tuesday he "would have loved to go back home and play for my city" when discussing the chances the Lakers could have traded for him before the Thunder did, per The Oklahoman’s Erik Horne. Even if Los Angeles traded Clarkson, Randle and Nance, it would still have young pieces in place to build around.
Zo's last 8 games, averaging 3 makes from the behind the 3pt line on 42% ..last 15 games, 2.2 3pt makes on 38% with his FG% @ 41 Spent much of the early season comparing Zo's stat line to rookie Jason Kidd's because it was so similar all the way down to the piss poor %'s Well, as far as shooting from the outside goes, HOF Jason Kidd did not have a single stretch like this his rookie season..or should I say " Ason Kidd " In fact, Ason Kidd hit a total of 70 3pters his rookie season Zo already has 53 makes and of course he's missed some time with the mild shoulder sprain At this rate, Zo will pass Ason Kidd's rookie season 3pt total by the end of this month Zo can shoot at this level, weird shooting stroke be damned.
Through 33 games: Lonzo - 10ppg/7rpg/7apg/.353FG/.350 3pt FG Ason - 10ppg/6rpg/8apg/.355FG/.118 3pg FG
All good, message is still the same Zo comes into the league with a big edge on Kidd when it comes to shooting and real potential to be a 40-45% shooter from deep early in his career The doubters can slowly begin to back away from the cliff, he looks good all-around LeBron and some of these other kids like Towns and Anthony Davis have put unreal expectations on 19-20yr olds playing 82 game seasons for the first time..not to mention Lavar and his hype, of course Edit: Oh and Ason Kidd came into the league at 21yrs old..Zo of course was 19 @ debut
Kuzma hitting that rookie wall, 82 games is a struggle, easily the toughest schedule in all of sports Zo 1-7 from 3pt land last night..of course against Fox, at least they won
Yeah Zo was terrible shooting but 11 reb, 11 assists, 5 steels, and 1 block all with only 1 turnover makes the night not so bad.
So when we get LeBron and George next year is Ty Lue gonna be the new head coach? And will he be bringing back Lou Williams to be the sixth man? Hey why not Skip 2 My Lou too?
Zo does some really great things that don't show up on the stat sheet. At least twice when guys made bad/lazy/boneheaded plays (one was Ingram, two we're Randle) Zo got them the ball in a good spot on the very next possession. Love trying to pick his guys up and get them going after a bad play.
Well, Serge Ibaka finally ran up on a real one James Johnson is the toughest man in the league, hands down..maybe the toughest in all the 3 major sports Like to see some of those hockey fellas try him too A 6'9" dude with a black belt and an undefeated MMA record..from a family where both parents have black belts and dabble in MMA James Johnson will fuck Ibaka up, never seen Ibaka raise his hands and move back so fast Lol
Last 8 games, Paul George is shooting 56% from the 3 point line..how do you just all of a sudden become Klay Thompson this season? TWolves starting look like the team many were scared they could be Oh and Anthony Davis hurt again..Couins should bolt this offseason, AD can't stay healthy at all
Boogie and PG would be the dream scenario. Both can shoot, and both can score in the half court in iso situations when needed. Perfect compliment to what they already have and fills in the weaknesses. Can you imagine how good Ingram will be with defenses having to worry about Boogie and PG?
Tough team to matchup with Wish they could do that and then convince Seth Curry to take the room exception for a year and then give him a sizable raise the next year Low key, little bro Curry would be a solid backup for Zo Zo's looking at big minutes though so little bro would probably look for a team where he could get more run But Zo/Seth/Ingram/Hart/George/Kuz/Noel/Cousins/T.Bryant would be a good group, right there with Minny in talent, but a step behind due to Minny's continuity
