The Memorial PGA tourney is being billed as Wood's Charge right now .... he's done and has been since late Friday. No way he catches the leaders. Cantlay may win this, too. I hope he does. Great kid who's endured as much as Woods ever has. Cantlay held his best friend in his arms after a drunk driver hit him doing 50 mph in Newport Beach a few years back. He's overcome real injuries, not depression incurred from sticking his wang in maximum supermodels and weight training himself into oblivion.

Go, Patrick, go. And suck it, Woodsy....

Cantlay murdered that course. Meanwhile, Tiger is well up the track, but yeah, ESPN ... put that serial fornicating mook on your page for every tourney. He got his balls kicked in this weekend by better men than him because .... umm ... because .... oh yeah ... BECAUSE HE'S GEARING UP FOR THE NEXT MAJOR! The MSM sports media can suck a bag of dicks forever, man.

Trent Williams vows not to play for the Redskins this year. Lol A perennial Top 5 left tackle potentially on the trade market this late? The should see heavy interest.

From LeBrain re. last night's incident with the Warriors' official and Kyle Lowery. He's no longer being "quite" during the playoffs.

    • no place in our BEAUTIFUL game for that AT ALL. There’s so many issues here. When you sit courtside you absolutely know what comes with being on the floor and if you don’t know it’s on the back on the ticket itself that states the guidelines. But he himself being a fan but more importantly PART-OWNER of the Warriors knew exactly what he was doing which was so uncalled for. He knew the rules more than just the average person sitting watching the game courtside so for that Something needs to be done ASAP! A swift action for his actions. Just think to yourself, what if @kyle_lowry7 would have reacted and put his hands back on him. You guys would be going CRAZY!! Calling for him to damn near be put in jail let alone being suspended for the rest of the Finals all because he was protected himself. I’ve been quite throughout the whole NBA playoffs watching every game (haven’t missed one) but after I saw what I saw last night, took time to let it manifest into my thinking I couldn’t and wouldn’t be quiet on this! #ProtectThePlayers#PrivilegeAintWelcomeHere
He seems to comment on everyone's business, but was strangely silent when Vogel was hired as Laker HC.

LeBron has done amazing things in his life, and he's a superb basketball player... but he's not going to make anybody forget Albert Einstein or Socrates.

Best thing he might've written would be, "Kick that honky's ass. If you won't, I will."

Well AE did help create WMD and modern physics seems to keep coming up with new ways to show E does no exactly equal MC squared.
And Socrates was a little too smug for his own good and still kind of a sophist. He did corrupt the youth of athens against their fathers and influenced the celebrities to want to side with the youth. In other words he was an annoying commy pointing out the flaws in the greatest of all the shitty political systems of administration humanity has tried.

It sorta works. Thats a huge plus right there.
And it has big swings of bears and bulls that you can track on a sine wave and bank on it if you can become a good tracker.
That up and dow/winners and losers thing is what guarantees the wheels to keep turning.
All the perfect systems like what Socrates would have envisioned fall apart and when they do there is never a rush of bulls on parade to bring everyone's spirits back up.

Stevens was out of line. With all the talk about Drake's interactions with friends on the sideline, here's an old part owner/investor that has no relationship at all with a player that he goes the extra mile with. Stevens has to eat that embarrassment..meanwhile, Warriors are " light years ahead of everyone. "

The same day that Magic went and aired LAL's dirty laundry out on TV, LeBron was at Vogel's intro press conference, more than I thought he would've done after that hiring debacle. When Vogel sits at his intro presser and has to answer questions about being LAL's 4th or 5th option in the process, I don't think there's actually anything to be said about LeBron. However, this is the 2nd time this offseason that a Warriors' official has been embarrassed..lest we forget about former Warrior Luke Walton and his pending sexual assault case from alleged actions years ago while on Kerr's staff.

I adore you, Rube, I do. But I've taught The Apology of Socrates for a decade now, and Socrates was NOT a sophist. His admission that he knew very little refutes any possibility that he could have been one.

As for him sowing discord, sure. Great minds often upset the balance. No problem there. Copernicus, da Vinci, Ignatius Loyola, Chesterton, Salinger ... all the those cats pissed off the status quo. Good on them.

But LeBron isn't doing that. He's just sticking up for his franchise. And he's in the right, incidentally. That cracka deserves an ass kicking.

LeBron is just not terribly literate. Maybe if he played less hoops at St. Vincent-St. Mary and sat in Mr. Hooper's frosh comp class, he wouldn't look like a dipshit when he writes a single paragraph.

Beyonce is so immature that she gets red-assed when gold boots talks over her. Meanwhile, Beyonce's mook fanbase made death threats on the owner's wife afterwards.

    Wtf?!

Socrates says hes not a sophist but thats like when Trump says hes the most humble.
Socrates love to argue. Which deep down is the main tool of the Sophist.
Everything he hates is actually what made him him.
Sophists sold their service to the general population.
Socrates in the marketplace to the youth.
The youth is the ticket to street cred which a cynic can play into the hearts of the celebrity/fame seeking rich.
He teaches kids the sophists book of tricks to mount invalid arguments that their parents are ignorant to rebuke.
Arguments that not only dismantle everything the parents believe in but empower the youth to rebel physically and politically. Causing chaos and death.

Jesus does not tell the kids to rebel. On the contrary.
Jesus does not tell the kids to tell their parents that everything they believe in is wrong.
Jesus tells the regular adults that they have failed to live up to their ideals.
Socrates was supposed to do his work with the adults of the age,
    He resented them though.
Used the kids to undermine them and the power of the celebrities to help promote the class warfare of the 'minorities'
Minorities are wards of the state types. Children in the eyes of the government,
If you get special treatment because you are a minority it means you acknowledge the government as your father.
Socrates is about destroying the order and replacing it with whatever comes next.
Jesus is about upholding the order that the adults had failed to uphold.
There is a major philosophical difference there.
    Which one really loves sophia?

Its not about bad news but good news.
Socrates is part of the down looking dog cynic group.
Only look up when barking mad at the moon.

'All I know is that I know nothing'... wasn't all that just pleading the fifth?

The first rule of being a true hipster is to say that you're not a hipster.
Sophism for Socrates is the same way.

Plato pretty much describes Socrates as a horrible person that pitted the youth vs the establishment like a marxist professor that hated humanity but who he happened to be friends with back in college.

Lots of win here, Rube, but I disagree with your diminishing of Socrates. I get you, but we will discuss this at length another time, maybe even over some Bohemia if you ever invite me to your pueblo.

You mention Jesus ... notice I didn't bundle him together with those others. His divinity demands distinction for me. He, as you said, didn't counsel rebellion. But he did flout authority. He effectively was a rabbinical dropout who grew up and told the rabbis that their diplomas didn't mean shit. That was pretty gangster, no?
