While Willie has been tearing it up we don't to use him all up. Besides Barnsey has valuable playoff experience that Smithy just does not have.

Yimi is trash. Gives up a HR every appearance.

Yimi is little more than Babo Castillo with some heat, and less mass appeal.

The guy is incapable of NOT giving up epic blasts. If nothing else, he mops up well. Keep him the fuck off the postseason roster. ...

Yeah, amidst a pleasant easy victory the ugliness of a bullpen that flat out sucks shows it's grotesque face.
    Smh.

Gives up less than .200 BA, but serves up fat pitches for bombs like they're party favors.

Pleasure watching Ryu practice his craft.

Question is........what do they do with him in the offseason?

    Yeah but Dave....
First he would come up with all these crazy lineups. We told him he was crazy for years.
Then one day he disappears and suddenly the dodgers have a new coach who likes crazy lineups.

That's a tough call. As good as Ryu is right now, he's an injury risk. He is also all finesse and location and smarts. Does that mean he can be Greg Maddux? Really hard to say.

Unless there is anyone else out there worth signing, I say re-sign him. I think he likes LA a bunch and is comfortable here with such a large Korean community in LA. Perhaps his style of pitching will make him more durable with less stress on his arm and body.

With the news we all expected about Dick Mountain sort of becoming official, you have to wonder, are May and Gonsolin now competing for potential postseason starts? I don't think anyone likes the idea of Maeda making starts, unless it's like a modified opener, though I guess he has a habit of being terrible in the 1st inning, so that would be bad.

If RH is that messed up, you make May a fifth starter if we are ahead in a series. I think it would be Ryu, CK, Buehler, Urias, and May. Gonsolin and Maeda go to the pen.

Dave Roberts said that he won't be stretched out enough to make a postseason start.
