Nah. I'm not interested in any bets. Only facts. And Doc is currently playing Zu less than Luke was playing him.
You gotta deal with these facts

With the Clippers' focus on big game hunting for superstars this offseason they'll probably let Zu go out on the market. Wouldn't shock me if the Clippers strike out in free agency and maybe match whatever Zu gets offered to bring him back. And that's when Zu veers onto the path of becoming the big man version of Lou Williams AKA the ultimate leading scorer for teams heading nowhere.

And that'll wrap up this month's edition of as the Zu turns for me. You guys can take it from here. I just wish this team would lose right now. That's my gripe. 4 wins in the last 5 games is pretty damn unnecessary

Can't we agree on this point?
Unnecessary? Spoken from the view that losing is a good goal because maybe we'll move up in the draft?

    Losing habits beget losing habits.
I'd prefer that the Lakers fight tooth and nail to gain every W possible. Three of four consecutive years of tanking has yet to gain us anything.. .except for 'some' fans wanting more losing:banghead:

Whereas I saw MeBron, three talented kids and a group of tired old mercenary vets not at all interested in playing like a 'team'.

In fact, like we said before MeBron arrived, the Lakers have given him the reins and he plays as selfishly as we feared he would.
Asking the kids OR the tired vets to play as a team around his selfish Me First mentality appears an exercise in futility

Russ can't shoot worth a shit anymore, but 20-20-20 is impressive, don't give a damn who it comes against

    Ya think

Yeah I don't care about the habits of a team that could realistically be bringing one current Laker back for next season

Lance still has a couple years before he turns 30, is a slick playmaker/improved shooter, would welcome him back.
Javale's basketball IQ is nonexistent, he has to go or they have to bring him back in a much smaller role.

23-25 minutes a night is 10-15 too many for Javale..if the goal is to win a championship, that is.
If the goal is to be a cute, little team that's kicking the can down the road Javale is your man for 23-25 minutes a night

And after all the whining about the Zubac trade, and gloating from the Clips' side, Zu only logs his customary 19 minutes in a loss. That'll show'em.

Caruso might be better than Zubac..certainly better suited for this space and pace/ball movement/defensive switching modern game. Imagine this thread if Zu had a game like Caruso did last night in a Clip win. Instead..hush Lol

As if that were a question.

Did you see the highlight where Caruso outjumped (lazy/tired/old) Javale McGee?

also, yes Caruso had 1 unbelievable game. His best game he will ever have in his entire career in a meaningless game.

Reminds me of that Andre Ingram game last year.

Hed be a good and hopefully cheap back up pg though. Especially if we blow all our money on a max guy.

Hope we dont trade him for Mike muscala.

2 good games in one week, both the only wins of the week
this week he averaged 20 PPG in 33 MPG while nabbing 5 rebounds and 2 steals and still dishing out 6 assists and shooting the lights out.

Not meaningless for everyone. Not for the Clippers that are trying to lock in their seed. Certainly not for Zubac, who's been doing a lot of talking. And really only meaningless to you because Zu didn't do much and the Clippers lost. Lol

Salute to Andre Ingram, but over the last 16 games Caruso is doing 12 ppg/4 ast/4 reb while shooting north of 50% from the 3pt line, nearly 90% from the free throw line, and out here dunking on guys..dunked on PJ Tucker earlier this season. And by the end of this season he will have played in nearly the same amount of games this year, as a Laker, as Zubac..while getting more minutes per game than Zu. #Carushow :D:D:D
