Damn.........that's a long fucking arm.
I didn't realize that the LA Times actually wrote a piece on this:
From the LA Times Article:
In a conference call with reporters Monday, Friedman was asked if Price is considering pitching in 2020 after news surfaced that Miami Marlins second baseman Isan Díaz was seeking reinstatement to play after deciding he wouldn’t because of the coronavirus. He didn’t shut the possibility down.
“It’s a better question for David,” Friedman said. “I’ve talked to him a decent amount and texted during games. We have not discussed that, but he’s definitely locked in on Dodger baseball, that’s for sure.”
Friedman said he didn’t know if Price had continued throwing after his decision, but he encouraged Price to do so and “he totally agreed.” But their conversations, Friedman maintained, haven’t included the possibility of Price joining the team.
I don’t think he’s coming back and that’s fine; don’t think anyone on the team should pressure him and he should only do it if he feels he could honestly contribute and have his mind in it.
Like I said, I don't care what the exchange says. The value of the US dollar is a mirage right now. Nobody knows what the US dollar is REALLY worth at this moment. It will not be clear for at least 2 years. Initial boosts create exponential devaluation on the back end.
Haha. No way man. He's been live streaming video games for 4 hours a day on his twitch account. No way is he going to come back.
While I understand his reasoning, I'll say fuck him. Not a fan.
Got over losing Strip real quick when I saw the return.
i'd bet Price is 20lbs overweight and in need of a minimum of 2 months prep to be worth the trouble
You know what rhymes with Sucks? Lux.
You can't say Gavin Lux without following it up with "softly hit ground ball to the infielder".
Trying for the reverse jinx. Black owned business need your donation money Gavin. Maybe crack a smile or something.
Some of those businesses might have gotten a little seed money if Lux would donate for every K.
Pretty damn good D from our 2 nd baseman.
No offense, though...I mean a fucking world class zero.
Heyman reporting that he is hearing really good things about new Dodger Kendall Williams, "Scouts like Dodgers’ Stripling trade better now that it’s known 1 PTBNL to LA is RHP Kendall Williams 20. Some see Williams as potential top-of-the-rotation guy. Stripling wasn’t a fit for LA as he wouldn’t get October IP behind Buehler, Kershaw, May, Urias, Gonsolin." That is pretty good to hear.
Gavin Lux was asked about standouts that he saw while playing at the alt site. "Kody Hoese can really, really, really hit. I felt like every day he was hitting the ball off the wall or shooting a double the other way.” Hoese dealt with a wrist injury once joining the org, so that is fun to hear. He mentioned recent 1st round pick Bobby Miller was living 95-98 with a hard slider. He also talked about the other new picks + scouting dept saying "Pretty much all the new draft guys, all the pitchers were 95-96 with pretty good breaking balls. Shout out to our scouting staff, because those guys were pretty impressive.”
The org has a type with their pitching and it is getting interesting to watch unfold. We are likely going to be in a lull for a about a year, but 2022 could start to see the farm absolutely reloaded.
Salmon and Trout are now tied for most HRs in Angels history.
They don't have any big sluggers in their farm named Bass, do they?
no, but they’ve definitely had some crappie players
They really should have went after Pollock
what are they even doing over there in Anaheim?
They have a Japanse kid in the MiL named Koi...but lately he's floundering.
Joe Pesci likes this
No, I think that's Jimmy Whale...his grandfather directed Frankenstein.
