The difference between Kuroda on the Dodgers and Kuroda on the Yankees is though he is a 4th starter on the Yankees...
Thanks VRP, I was wondering where you went. I had somebody send me a message on PSD to check this out so today I created an account. I like what I'm seeing here so far so I plan on being more active here. Good to see some of your posts again, and I love the James McDonald Twitter war!
Awesome! I would have tried to bring you over, but the PSD mods were onto me I think. Either way, glad to have you around. And yeah, that J-Mac fight was a funny night haha.
Wow, I'm impressed by Nova's 1 good year in the league. Would you like me to list some of the pitchers that had one or two good years? Kuroda is easily better than Nova.
Will be interesting to see how Kuroda fairs in a more homer friendly ball park. He will have Russ especially with Montero now gone. He had a lower era on the road this year but a lot of those games were in the NL West parks. I suspect he will do well and the best of luck to him.
I called this shit. I was blasted for not appreciating his loyalty. Well, I am sure that Ned fucked it up (but given his original demand of 13 a season I can see why) but c'mon. Had he taken a move, we would be receiving compensation. Instead, not so much. Fuck him.
i didn't like kuroda invoking his no trade option but i was one of those defending him at the time he seemed so sincere that it was all about being a dodger i even blamed ned after all if you put something in someone's contarct expect them to use it but i digress that was then if he had gone back to japan once it was clear we didn't want him back i still would have defended his decision again, i didn't like it but it was his choice and his right however now that's he's signed with an east coast team i have lost all respect for him imo, he has no honor, loyalty and character looking forward to his 7-15 5.89 season
Just curious, why haven't I seen you on PSD anymore? I stopped going on there for a while and when I came back you were nowhere to be found.
Didnt say Kuroda wasnt better then Nova, and neither did you. You said Nova sucks.. I disagreed. Nova isnt a strike out pitcher, Nova is a sinker baller. He misses more then enough bats as a sinker baller as long as he has a good defense behind him. Chein Ming Wang was the latest Yankee to be a sinker baller and not miss many bats and he had 19 wins 2 straight seasons and well on his way to his 3rd until a random base running injury pretty much derailed his career. Freddy Garcia, not that Im saying he is good, misses less bats then Nova and he was better then Nova last season statistically.
