Excellent. They can't always win when we get hammered. At least this helps maintain the status quo, even though not ideal.
I like to think they're all taught properly at the professional level. Sometimes it doesn't sink in for whatever reason.
Speed is a skill. Running the bases properly is a talent. Both Puig and Joc are fast but are poor base stealers. That's a talent which has to be developed.
@MikeSGallagher Since the Warriors lost Game 7, Dodgers outfielder Trayce Thompson is 0-of-14 at the plate. Oh
and therein lies the problem how do you teach someone a skill if they incapable of learning? maybe that's puig's problem nah i don't think puig is stupid but he is pig-headed, immature and self-righteous he feels he knows better than scouts, managers, coaches, teammates... everyone and, as exciting as it was, all hit walk-off (run through a stop sign) play did was further validate it in his mind i agree with this for the most part as mousey alluded, it's a matter of sementics what about the one who's actually playing the game? if they're good; are they talented, skilled or both? in this case talent/skill is a lot like [being] lucky/good in that it's better to be lucky than good, but even better to be both unless by rpg you're referring to puig's arm being akin to the russian rocket launcher in that case puig's brain would be like borsch
yes but it's not like he was rolling before that 3 for his last 15 (.200), and even worse (5-29/.172) if you go back further
A whole lot of nothing since he tied the game up with that 3-run HR against MIL It should mean more ABs to get him out of it, but that's not likely to happen with Puig back Here's hoping he can break out of it with less
Ouch. Seems to be a pattern with this team....one guy gets hot then a couple weeks later forgets how to even make contact. Trayce will be on fire in the middle of July.
Trayce was a big surprise. Not surprisingly he's struggling but now he'll have to adjust. Batting him lower might be the solution. I believe he's really good in the 7th hole. But that would mean Yasiel would have to go higher :gasp:
MLB Lineups @mlblineups 16m16 minutes ago 6/26 @Dodgers lineup at PIT Utley 2B Seager SS Turner 3B Kendrick LF Pederson CF Puig RF Grandal C Van Slyke 1B Kershaw P Get it back goin, ginger turd.
Got to give it to the Phils they are battling and they finally got to Cueto, cue up that video!!! At the very least they are wearing the Gnat pen out!!!
offense needs to show up tonight (have a feeling it won't) otherwise we're getting swept (have a feeling we will)
Me too Sutcliffe cracked on the O the other day when CK was on the hill Said " you only need a run or two with Kershaw on the mound, and most times that's all they give him " Lol
