He blows a lot of big games. Which is partly the nature of his job. But this season has been rough. Too many blown saves
Providing we find a suitable replacement, I agree. Seems like a head case. I'm a head case too, but I'm just typing and not out on a big league mound.
I feel like it's just happened this year. His blown saves has skyrocketed and it's annoying it happens when the rest of the bullpen has been good. Still elite overall numbers but you can't ignore the 1 run games he's blown
We went into the bottom Of the eighth up 4-2 and our 3 best relievers have given up 4 runs. One BS one and two bombs
The bloggers will have their say, but tonight showed that when the times are tough, Kenley will piss himself in the moment. That was Derek Lowe all over again, "THERE IS A GUY ON SECOND, WHAT DO I DO!?!" Piss the game away Kenley, that's what you're good at. Good RIDDANCE
I said around the deadline that I was completely for dealing Jansen with the prices getting thrown around. Now people see why...
Said it at the deadline and knew it'd be a slim to none chance, but I wish they could've found a deal for Kenley while somehow bringing Andrew Miller in. Miller's just a better reliever than Kenley, a better reliever than everybody pretty much..other than maybe Britton
I proposed it as well. Miller, Chapman, Molanceon, etc were all netting huge prospect hauls. The market for relievers was ridiculous and we could've got some good stuff back.
if the team had balls they would do it now trade him for whatever his value is and hand the closer to... who fucking cares? why do we need that ONE guy
Just got to somehow stay ahead of the Giants through this Cubs/Coors stretch and next weekend we get the Pads and the Giants get the cubbies
