I don't know how you can watch their games with the audio on. I couldn't do it. I mute the TV when I hear either Krukow or Kuiper.
It makes it so much sweeter when they lose in the ninth against the Pads. The sweet sound of Kruk making sorry excuses for this god awful team is music to my ears.
Watching MLB Network for a couple minutes... I would love to beat the crap out of the Red Sox or Yankees in the World Series. Then again, I don't want either of them to win a pennant and you know FOX would oversell the fans "taking over" Dodger Stadium like they did with the Cubs.
got home from work a little while ago just watched the dvr of the game and i have but one thing to say... cody bellinger is good at baseball
Current Vegas odds of the giants winning the division: 1000/1 Dodgers are on pace to have less losses on the season than the Giants have right now.
The Dodgers have now won 28 of their last 32 games. The only other season in Dodgers history in which they had a 28-4 span was in 1899, when the team was known as the Brooklyn Superbas.
I don't doubt for a moment that this game was singled out as his return specifically for the opponent.
The cycle is anything but a ho-hum feat. From Andy McCullough in this morning's LA Times........ The cycle is a rare feat, one that occurred only three times in 2016, only four times in 2017 before Saturday. Barry Bonds never did it. Neither did Hank Aaron, or Ken Griffey Jr., or Babe Ruth. The Dodgers have played 60 seasons since moving to Los Angeles. Across those six decades, only two players produced a cycle. When considering this, of course, it is worthwhile to remember that the Dodgers played 59 of those seasons without Cody Bellinger.
Forsythe has a 1.128 OPS against lefties this year and Taylor a 1.000 OPS wow Dodgers lineup vs. LHP O'Grady: Forsythe 2B Seager SS Turner 3B Bellinger 1B Taylor LF Barnes C Hernandez RF Thompson CF Hill P
Turner needs to make up just 3.2 more ABs, in excess of 3.1 per remaining game, to qualify for rankings.
Imagine starting your season 53-38 and still being 9.5 games out of first. Colorado/Arizona having terrific seasons and are still thinking WC because of how ridiculous we have been...
Great job by Hill in the 2nd... after a lead-off double by Ozuna, he merely strikes out the next three.
Meanwhile, in addition to JT's 1st inning blast, there have been a number of fly ball outs. Anyone else have the feeling we're going to see some more in the seats today?
such a confident group atm while i love the HRs i really appreciate the fundamentals if there is one thing we haven't done well its those moving runners etc
