Don't believe they had diagnosed the actual issue with his feet during the filming for ep. 1 They may get more into it next week. But it's basically semi-frostbitten feet from a cryotherapy chamber he sleeps in sometimes. Just needs time for the skin to peel/heal. Terrell Owens used to sleep in those as well..partly why he could still probably outrun and beat out half the league if given a tryout and a real chance. Top level guys all-time in terms of the shape they're in
Profootballdoc fully believes its something else entirely, but that he should be ready weeks before the season opener regardless https://www.sandiegouniontribune.co...-03/profootballdoc-antonio-brown-feet-raiders https://www.sandiegouniontribune.co...tballdoc-antonio-brown-feet-frostbite-raiders
Murray looked pretty comfortable, to be expected. Vanilla preseason game calling on both sides. But come reg-season, D coordinators are going to have to be more creative than usual against the Cards. He's waaaaaaaay better than Lamar Jackson. He's too accurate on the run and in the pocket, arm is too strong. Don't expect to see a ton of man coverage because of his ability to bolt with 4.3 speed. A simple levels call from Kingsbury will clear out one side and he'll fly 40 yards down the sideline in a blink. He should see a lot of exotic zone/blitz schemes to contain him, but he's used to that and is adept at finding open windows. And they have a nice WR core and RB there..if they get any kind of blocking from that shitty O-line they are going to be tough to deal with and be in a lot of shoot outs. A scary team to play. Probably going to see some rough stuff from opponents..have to do something to get to Murray. Take a penalty or two early and set the tone
Welp, Hard Knocks has their controversey. Of course, it's BS. He's not passing over $50M+ because of a helmet. Report: Raiders WR Antonio Brown Won't Play Football Without Old Helmet Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown reportedly won't play football again unless he can wear the previous version of his helmet, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The NFL altered its helmet policy before 2019, "eliminating the one-year grace period for certain models," according to the NFL Network's Michael Silver. But Brown has attempted to use his old and outlawed model throughout training camp before his announcement on Friday.
I hope AB retires. It would be too funny. The game was here long before him and will be long after him, this type of shit won't work in the NFL.
Some people are speculating that he hasn't been right since Burfict hit him upside the head. Ironic if that is so since they are on the same team now.
Star/diva WR. Comes from a long line of them and this is part of the package. He threatened to retire earlier this offseason and got what he wanted, so here's that card again. But in reality he's not leaving all that money on the table over a helmet. Already a report that the team expects he'll pick a new helmet. Also a report that some of the other RAIDERS are pissed about having to switch helmets as well. AB the only one trying to do something about it. But again, at the end of the day it's bunch of drama with a predictable ending. Even OJ Simpson's crazy ass called BS..click the tweet and listen to him explain O.J. Simpson@TheRealOJ32 I’m calling BS! #antoniobrown#Raiders
Louis Riddick@LRiddickESPN Looking at the @Raiders up close and personal today, let me assure you of this: this team is light years more talented than their team from 2018. They have athletes all over the field and a nice blend of young sprinkled with experience. They are no doubt my “surprise” team ‘19. Hope to see the progress on Saturday
That burst/recovery @ 1:28, kid is pretty much as advertised athletically. A savage in hot pursuit, 4.4 speed with bad intentions, covered 20 yards in a heartbeat there. Don't find a bunch of starting caliber safeties that pickem up and puttem down like that, range reminds me of Earl Thomas and T. Polamalu. Hopefully, the mental part comes along quickly for him and he can stay healthy. And that he doesn't get too down on himself when he gets burned because he will. Gotta be able to forget the bad plays and move on quickly back there. Want to see him leap off the screen today for the little time he's out there
Louis Riddick@LRiddickESPN Antonio Brown & #Raiders are the hot item, so I’ll offer my thoughts: 1) I’m hearing the “going dark” and “radio silence” stuff being put out there is bs. 2) His wanting to wear his old helmet is dumb. The studies in helmet safety/technology prove that. 3) I bet he plays in 2019
