i know Prior gets a lot of credit and likely deservedly so but who gets the blame for all the hits on 0-2 pitches? never seen a team consistently put no ball two strike pitches right in the zone
Lux is still pretty underwhelming. Nice batting average but has he ever hit anything more than a single? And he doesn't belong in the outfield. I'm just pissed at this point
Either way, there's no way you can win a WS with Kimbrel closing imo. We have to wake up and realize that a lot of his saves were pure luck and due to having 3 run leads. He is a nightmare and will only be worse in a big playoff situation
Game could turn out to be a huge positive if Craig is sidelined for a long time due to the liner. We aren't so lucky though
somehow doubt Almonte called that pitch but our entire staff has thrown 2 strike meatballs all year would seem like they might practice throwing out of the zone there but then again i'd expect the team to know how to bunt
in better news... Shoutout to the White Sox.....they went into SF this weekend and beat the piss out of them.
Joe Davis and John Smoltz were complicit in the Padres win. Absolutely. They willed it by mentioning that SD had to win the last game - about 20 times. Faggots. They willed it. They should be killed, right after Kirsten is sacrificed.
Working on a home project and following the game on my phone. Seeing that Kimbrel was coming in with a one-run lead, I just shut it off and told myself I was going to spare myself the agony of watching Kershaw's gem get unravelled, and just read about the blown save afterwards. Sure enough.
why should this be any surprise? davey thinks he's earned the permanent job of Dodger manager and he's probably right as well as the team having earned a WS victory despite massive holes in their game and total lack of preparedness when it counts its not that we don't do the little things we can't do the little things
