Jeff Passan@JeffPassan The Los Angeles Dodgers are calling up Kyle Hurt, a RHP prospect with the highest strikeout rate in the minors this year, sources tell ESPN. Monster fastball, tons of swing-and-miss on secondaries and 145 Ks in 88.1 innings between AA and AAA. He'll work out of the bullpen. 10:32 AM · Sep 12, 2023 · 245.3K Views
Not sure, but I've heard that you can spend all your time making money or you can spend all your love making time.
that was my reference and the king upon his empire of dirt lol one of those very very, maybe never?, times i'd have a hard time choosing between the cover and the original both impossibly awesome but if i had to i'd probably go w the NIN version since it was first
joe kelly back young hurt sent down nice message to the kid: six up, six down, three k’s… here’s your bus ticket back to okc, meat meanwhile vesia can’t wait to shat the bed come october poor kid… he exceeded expectations, but this has to hurt
The kids, which will have to be part of the post seasoon roster, no matter what, are a very talented group capable of really fine performances. But none of them yet have demonstrated consistency. They can go out and be Pepiot as he was two games ago, then go out there and be as meh as last night. Same for Sheehan and Stone... who was alarmingly bad last time. Miller can have multiple good games, but have horrible innings. I guess our hopes rest on Long Ball Lance (!). There's something definitely wrong with CK. Definitely. The mystery shroud swirls about him... The rest are on sick call, can't make the morning muster. With the " leadership" of Robots, I see a quick post exit...and inexorably, the wait till next year slogan front and center. In fact, maybe the bb flying through the air with the speed lines coming off of it Dodger symbol should be resplaced by that slogan. Or a bridesmaid.
What a horrible trade @Matthew__Moreno #Dodgers optioned Kyle Hurt in order to activate Joe Kelly off the injured list.
My first impression/ response is WTF ? But one becomes calloused with Dodger moves...some touted as brilliant and the kings of " diamond in the rough" acquisitions. But ultimately, the "why the fuck did we move this guy" questions pops up. So, why the fuck did we ? And not saying it'll be written in granite, but Kelly sucked upon return. And he's a little long in the tooth, no? signed, Pedro.
i get bringing Kelly back and getting him ready for the post but not at the cost of this kid has to hurt the team when you get a lift from a youngster and don't keep him around after last year when they kept gallo and sent Outman down nothing surprises me about team decisions and i have to believe its davey and his "veteran" preferences driving it could have been a springboard to a breakout and no he probably has doubts about himself and what they saw in him the numbers and the anal boys need some cold water already
