Too early to tell but I get it that it there may not be enough time to let him work it out, have to trust Honeycutt and the staff.
I'm with Joe. He hasn't been the same. Not close. Avilan gets the roster spot over Liberatore if I'm making the decision.
I agree. Relievers are all bad playing a hot hand, it's not like hitters where you go with upside. Avilan looks great and his offspeed looks good enough to get lefties and righties out
Since coming back from his injury, they have barely even used Liberatore, so something is obviously going on there. He had a solid stretch of 5 games before last night, but those games were over the course of 21 days! If they were going to bring him along for the postseason, would have to believe that they would be using him a little more often just to keep him in sync.
Maybe what is/was wrong with him was acute/ chronic egomania, which may have been at a very dangerous level...as "the best LH relief pitcher in the game" ( his words), something had to pop... We can only hope that this terrible affliction is cured by next season.
During the playoffs I wish I lived on the East Coast. Games starting during prime time. I'm gonna miss so much of the post season and DVRing the games isn't the same as watching it live.
No Giants thread yet so here's the lineup: Tonight's Dodger lineup: Kendrick LF Turner 3B Seager SS Puig RF Ruiz C Segedin 1B Hernández CF Culberson 2B Hill P The Dodgers as a whole are smarter then me but I really fucking wish Joc got the start today.
