Lol Zo played the whole damn 1st quarter I think they've received the stat about the record when Zo plays 30 or more minutes
I just saw Michael Beasley make a beautiful defensive switch..I swear to god, if Michael Beasley can just do that we're going to the Western conference finals But he'll never do it again
I know how you feel, sorta Lol Sucks to say but the Pack helped my guys today, Cards move down a slot to #3 in the draft order
On Thursday, a NBA league source shared with me that the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in bringing in Anthony Davis via trade as soon as December 15 and Ball and other key Lakers players Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Brandon Ingram could be part of the move. “If it’s a straight-up trade with the Pelicans, Lonzo will be in the deal,” a league source with Lakers knowledge told me on Thursday. “But the Lakers will be asking for Elfrid Payton or Ian Clark in return.“ ---------- So the trade winds are picking up with KCP and others gaining trade eligibility in a couple weeks. Above there is the same guy that reported Durant/Lakers, saying much of what's already been said, that both Lonzo and Ingram have to go to New Orleans in order to keep enough space to sign Durant in the offseason ( he elaborated elsewhere), but the real news I guess is that the wheels are definitely in motion or have been in motion for a couple years to make Anthony Davis a Laker and they want to pull the trigger soon. I guess you could say the Deng contract is going to cost us again. But ultimately, LeBron/Rondo is enough ball handling in the playoffs to make a strong run now and probably going forward. This makes all the sense in the world, LeBron/AD can benefit a ton from an instant/on the fly playoff run together and the team can get an early look at what works and what doesn't and recalibrate using that info this offseason. Pels need to lose more games though, they have a 12-12 record currently and are holding the 9-seed ( Lakers, 14-9, are 5th currently). The source also detailed 3 team trade framework that he's privy to, that includes the Orlando Magic/Nic Vucevic going to New Orleans to open up playing time in Orlando for Mo Bamba. Pels get Vucevic, Ingram, Ball, multiple draft picks and fillers and Orlando gets KCP and one of LAL's big men - probably Javale since he's proving himself valuable. That doesn't really sound like a lot in return for Vucevic, but 1) he's not really a solid defender at a pivotal defensive position so wherever he goes he's sort of a dead end quality player, 2) his contract is expiring, and 3) Orlando is in the playoff picture in the east holding onto the last seed and both Javale and KCP can help them make the playoffs. Especially in the east. Orlando becomes a very strong defensive team when you add Javale and KCP to Mo Bamba, Gordon, and those wings, and they definitely need help at guard defensively because Fournier is trash. KCP has pretty much consistently been a better player than Fournier thus far in their careers. I think Javale/KCP will give them a better shot at making the playoffs than Vucevic will. And last, but certainly not least, if you're Orlando and you're helping the Lakers get Anthony Davis..that means you're keeping Davis from becoming a Celtic and the Celtics obviously have a ton of assets to offer. So if it looks like a lot is going to New Orleans for AD, then that's probably accurate.
He's also been told that Orlando themselves have interest in Zo and that he could be the guard piece going to Orlando instead of KCP. Zo and Javale, probably. Which would still give Orlando a hell of a defensive boost. Vucevic, KCP, Ingram and draft picks go to New Orleans, AD and Elfrid Payton to LAL
So the Pelicans lost to the Clips and fell out of a tie for the 9-seed. The twitter world has latched onto the AD/LAL/ORL stuff and is watching every Pels game hoping for Pels Ls. Lol I must admit the framework does feel like a fit. The rotation after December 15th.... C - AD/Chandler F - LeBron/Moe F - Kuz/Lance G - Hart/Svi G - Rondo 8 or 9 man rotation there, depending on Lance night to night who's obviously a wild card and can look like one of their best players any given game. If they stay relatively healthy and Rondo does what he usually does in the playoffs, between LeBron/AD/playoff Rondo, have to expect a strong showing even with rookies and 2nd year guys sprinkled in. The ceilings are pretty high for Kuz/Hart/Moe/Svi as shooters and Rondo works very well with shooters, and LeBron obviously
anyone would want Davis of course Durant is already calling a Lebron team toxic so there goes your "superteam" of all the pieces i'd like to see stay Ingram would be the first
