G'nats are the old rival but let's face it, that was from NY... The Mets are MEH. We beat them and they beat us but the Cards are dirty fucking bastard cKunts and my Hanley rib hatred runs deep. As much as I'd love to see SF out I'm finding it hard to want the Cards to be in to oust them. Am I alone?
Nothing trumps Giants hate. And if Hanley didn't want to get stuck in the ribs he shouldn't be diving at the ball at the plate. He was injured on several occasions (on the hand and wrist, too) because he dove and turned into the pitch instead of away.
Well, if you want to exorcise demons, you have to beat them. Thing is, in those years the Gnats won the series, they never faced us. So in a sense, I feel like that isnt the monkey on our backs. Its the Cards and the Phillies....etc. If the Cards make it, and the Gnats dont, so much the better. I freakin hate the Gnats and hate their fans, their radio station, their announcers, god almighty, they annoy me like no other. I dont live in St Louis, so I cant speak from personal experience how they are, but living in the Bay Area is torture enough. God I hate all aspects of Bay Area sports. So, I guess I'm saying, bring on the Cards.
I don't want the Giants anywhere near the playoffs. Some scrub like Panik would turn into Ted Williams and lead them to the WS while Casilla magically turns into Rivera.
In part.........yes. Seager's done the same thing twice this year. Fortunately he didn't break his wrist.
I thought you meant diving over the plate for contact was his fault he got hit. Many hitters do that. But yes, if your not swinging, and the ball is coming at you, turn away from it, not into it. Agree. Utley has got it down pat.
Yeah. Watched the video again :'( and it was aimed right at him. Can't do much when it's coming right at you.
I don't want to tempt Even Year Bullshit when it comes to the gnats. I don't care how random baseball is, or what anyones says, they got some evil juju working for them, and the only way to make sure they don't win another championship is for them to be completely out. Bring on the Cards, Cubs, Mets and Nationals.
I didn't mean to be beaten on a bb diamond. I meant beaten with a tire iron...just to clarify. BB bat or golf club is OK, too.
