Lol That'd add to the list of OF'ers throwing SVS under the bus, Kemp the 1st we know of.

I remember when CC was actually hitting and producing, but coming off the DL, and he was asked about playing time and Ethier, CC said something like " Ethier's just gonna have to get used to coming off the bench " Lol

Him and Abreu aren't buddies, for some reason there was a writer a couple years ago that stirred up trouble saying that Abreu and Puig hadn't talked since he came up, even though they were longtime friends. Naturally through an interpreter it got flubbed up when they asked (I'm pretty sure) Abreu about why and he responded with something that came out to "I just don't relate to him" or something like that, that made Puig look really immature. Then the real story came out that they barely knew each other back on the island if I remember right, and that is because Abreu is a bit of a loner and Puig was a weird young kid on the team at age 17 and 19 before defecting. They put on some show for the press when they played the Sox, but then it came out again, that yeah they really don't relate. They don't hate each other, they're just not buddies because they are from the same country. I'm sure the Dodgers still want a good bit for Puig, folks may not believe, but his numbers are still pretty good.

Puig did not storm off and he was informed before showing up at the stadium that he was either getting traded or going to OKC. Sounds like he was prepared for either scenario.

Speaking of SVS, does anyone else follow him on twitter? If that is really him, he is a bit of a weird cat. Which I guess fits with the family.

 

The demotion might make sense IF he really decides to be professional about it and work on his swing and how he approaches the thinking part of the game.

I don't understand how SVS and Kike get to be on the team over Puig. Dumb.

 

I think that is kinda obvious.
I mean I'm kinda reading between the lines, but with them telling him that he'll be traded or demoted it'd seem as though they don't want him around at all...can you come up with a better reason?

 

Was wondering why mlb network has had nary a word on the obvious error by Rosendouche.
