I don't know who clay Travis is, so I will take your word for it. But I don't think what he said was completely out of line. Mexico sucks, objectively. My wife is taking me to her hometown of Leon next year though, and I'm definitely excited to visit.
While this may be true we aren't in the old west anymore. The Mexican government (or any country's government) has a moral responsability to at least try and take care of it's citizens. That's not happening and that's the oppressive/lacking human rights issue. That's the reason there are so many Mexican citizens in the US, freedom. Always the easy path to blame the United States, we have big shoulders. Hollywood, drug cartels, the Dem's (media), all cut form the same cloth you say? I tend to agree...
Mexico tried that. Cartels killed more people in more gruesome ways. Slaughter the entire family of a cop. Over there cops wear masks while on duty like superheroes to protect their identity because one move could lead to your family being dissolved alive in acid in front of you as you watch. We are in the new old west. The westernmost part of the world. If it all starts in the East then this is where it all ends. I ant blaming the US for anything. I'm fine with our history because its history. I only care about what the US is doing today. In Mexico, they already in a war right now since 1994 with the people of southern forests of the country and the Maya have essentially formed their own state. But after all the killing of their own people that happened in the south, the Mexicans are hesitant to send the army into the north. And this is against anarcho-communist guerrillas fueled by anti-capitalist social-democracy Jesuit liberation theology intellectuals. Why? Lots of people die. Lots of innocent people. And nothing changes because unless they clear the jungle the government cant really go in there with great force to regulate. And if they clear the jungle then you have another desert. And the only people there will be recruits for the next terrorist/rebel/cultist/guerrilla, etc... Mexico has done their moral best to help the north but at some point you have to realize that like in Afghanistan the deserts and mountains of northwestern Mexico are the devils backbone. Only chaotic elements can sustain there. Organized troops and military might become a hindrance in such conditions.
OKC looks like a hot mess right now. Unless they turn it around, there's gonna be a lot of intrigue this off season.
First of all, that reporter is HOT! Second, the sports dude clearly said “booze” and not “boobs”, but it was a stupid attempt to be funny but just showed him to be a meathead. He should have just spelled out the damn word like the reporter tried. Third, that reporter is HOT. Fourth, I’m going to hell, I know.
https://twitter.com/RaiderPosts/status/932502837480718336 When you're right, you're right. Deion's right, and he's probably only echoing sentiments from players he's close to on the team, so it's all fucked up. This is where Reggie and Mark let RAIDER fans down, not in the draft. Gareon Conley had no injuries to speak off until he got hurt in camp..that's bad luck. Nobody's fault. Same with Obi, who also got hurt in camp. No pre-existing injury concerns and then hurt in camp. Bad luck. Letting Musgrave go was the killer, and now Musgrave takes over Denver's play calling duties after they fire Mike McCoy
I could have sworn he said booze. If he did say boobs, well he’s a greater fool. Did I mention the reporter is HOT!
Norton fired..Bruce Irvin better watch his back. Glad Pagano is taking over..hopefully, he can stick if Del Rio gets canned as well. But Del Rio should stick, at least until better options open up. They have to dump Downing though
