Yeah, but what QB of the future in this draft? I’m not convinced Rosen and Darnold are those guys, at least not worth a high 1st round pick. Not that I care about the Giants but they were supposed to have a competitive team this year....now they are stuck in a so so draft this year for QB and seem to need help all around with a payroll that’s not exactly cheap. They are already over the cap.
Draft guys are still convinced that Darnold is ultimately going to be a good one, and really he's only done himself a favor with the way he's been playing because now the Browns may pass on him. Nobody wants to be the next QB of the Browns. The way it looks right now, it looks like Darnold is NYG's man and they're settling into their draft spot for him. NYG's defense is fine..other than guys just quitting on the HC, that is. NYG needs a new HC, stability on the O-line, to move on from Eli, and to get a healthy OBJ back. They do those things and they're the Rams next year. The league has fallen back overall. Consistency in the quality of play is nonexistent. They can take advantage and make a quick leap back among the top teams if they maneuver the right way
