Al Jolson approves.
This coast guardsman is a badass.
Those few seconds were better than pretty much every recent military action movie.

RIP Jim Bouton. Ball Four is one of the best baseball books ever.
My favorite line is a description of former Indian pitcher Don Mossi, known for his big ears. Said Bouton, "he looked like a cab going down the street with its doors open."
the balls it took to write a tell all book back then...
imagine he was ostracized from a lot of places
Sad. I saw Bouton at a baseball card convention when I was 12. He had no oldtimers near him like the others did, but he had all the kids who had read his book and learned about "beaver shooting" from that spectacular book.
Rest easy, Jim. Smoke 'em inside ...
He was a pariah for many years.
this is one of the more bizarre stories i've heard in a while
Uh yeah... that's freak stuff. One of the priests I work with told me about this disappearance years ago. I thought the father had given up one died by now.
Anybody know a good site to watch movies online for free?
I wanna watch Are 51 & Flying Saucers
On the Firestick, I've watched plenty of current movies and premium features using the Kodi app. Hope that helps.
Roku has an app called Tubi
That's not bad. Also, IMDB streams free uncut movies with commercial breaks, as does Pluto TV...
Okay, completely off in left field. It seems there are a few contractors or experienced handy people on this board, so I thought I’d ask this question.
I have a two story house. For some reason, the previous owner put an AC unit that only services the 2nd floor. There is no condenser for the 1st floor.
That being said, we already have a thermostat on both the 1st and 2nd floor, there is ductwork on both the first and second floor, and we have a blower and furnace for both floors.
The only thing missing is a condenser for the 1st floor.
I’m looking for some ideas to add cooling to the 1st floor. What is the most cost effective method to do that? I’m assuming adding another another condenser would be the most expensive given the need to add a new platform, new electrical/panel connections, and permits (actually, I have no idea).
I’ve also heard that splits are expensive.
Any ideas my friends?
Looks like 3/4 of a million signed up to storm Area 51. Lol. Seems like a lot of people who listed to Bob Lazar on Joe Rogan are about to die. Pink mist everywhere.
They'll stay home & eat mom's leftover meatloaf... then jerk off. They aren't storming anything except a Jack in the Box at 2AM
