yeah the RBI topic is not ever clean just noticed tonight that Pujols now has 75 RBI's which is well past any Dodger yet he's hitting only .252 of course he's got Trout in front of him all the time so any hit is an RBI
And its Pujols. Dude is a good hitter. Forget the AVG. He knows how to hit in RISP and how to bring runners home. BTW, Pujols is batting over .300 in the past 30 games. So it was a matter of a slow start for the veteran. The difference in RBI between he and Gonzales is power related. Gonzales lack of power has easily sapped 20 or so RBI from his total. He has 10 HR less than Pujols which would be 10 RBI right there. WIth an average of 1 runner on with each HR would put him up to 70 RBI which is just a handful shy of Pujols. They both hit well with RISP but Gonzales power shrinks even more in those situations while Pujols keeps the power flowing.
Pujols has a very unique swing.. all wrists from a squat position but it works because at his age he still has the power to show
