    Thats so silly for Grandal/Jansen to say it's "actually a bad thing" to have had that 20 game lead like they did last year and the version this year is better. Their best postseason run in almost 30 years came last year when they just destroyed teams in the regular season.

    if the game matters count on kershaw to fold

    For the future if he doesnt pan out any of our big power hitting guys in the minors who cant play the OF or 3B very well.
    Or a place for Justin Turner and/or Corey Seager to rest their bones.
    Also have a theory that if Grandal moves to 1B he will stop being so streaky of a hitter and become a lot more valuable.
    Specially since he would be an excellent third catcher on a team if he is also the starting 1B.
    I could see him hitting .265 with a .390 OBP and slugging .500 with 35 HR as a starting 1B/DH who could also sub in at C if needed.
