Cmon man. He's definitely not the worst defensive center in the league. Only 24. 1.3 bpg versus .5. Obviously a better rebounder. A reset. He's still contributing at least. Mozgov has one ok game out of 10. Moz for biyombo straight up.
Nah. Tarik Black has been better than Biyombo and Mosgov's player efficiency rating is better than Biyombo's anyway. Lakers' center of the future and more than likely next year is Zubac, was Zubac in June after they drafted him before they even signed Mozgov in July. The anti-Mosgov stuff is corny as is, but especially corny when promoting Biyombo.
Good game tonight. Paul George looked like he was sleep walking for much of it. Good bounce back for Julius. Calderon was pretty good backing up Clarkson after DLo left.
LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. has been cleared to play in limited minutes Sunday at Dallas after missing the past 16 games with a bone bruise in his left knee.
3 way tie for the 2nd worst record in the league didn't see that coming team really needs to bring back a west or jackson to get shit straight
Zu Alcindor VS Portland tonight - 12 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks in 28 minutes But the stat I like most of all is the 15 shots Zu took tonight, getting more aggressive, showing more confidence The PG play is so strong at the top of this draft that if LAL keeps losing, and lands their draft pick, could make things extremely interesting concerning trades - especially if Jim and/or Mitch are let go and someone else is doing the trading. Jim shot himself in the foot when he said he needed 3yrs, that was unnecessary..that was arrogance. But he's basically been running day to day LAL ops since 2005, overseeing 2 championships and holy shit trades like Kwame for Pau, so you can kinda see where the arrogance would come from. Not many execs have accomplished more than Jim/Mitch since '05, what gets lost in Laker fan's thirst for more banners. That being said, Jim put himself in a position where now someone else could be coming in right before this young core takes off. Like preparing a sandwich and somebody swiping it before you can sink your teeth in. With Jerry West falling at his country club and needing to be hospitalized the other day and Phil just being a shitty exec in general, I don't think their old false teeth can handle the sandwich. If anything I could see LAL staying in house and going younger w/Ryan West, Jerry's boy. They've gone younger at HC/Lakers ( Luke) and HC/D-Fenders (Coby Karl), think they'd maybe continue down that path.
Holy shit, Korver @ 2:02 Lol If Cousins doesn't sign that deal w/SAC, and LAL is in position to draft one of these stud PGs come June, it'll probably be pretty hard not to call Vlade w/DLo offered up as the centerpiece. Zubac/Cousins/Randle up front would be like the baby version of Bynum/Gasol/Odom
Thought you might find this interesting. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/st...emarcus-cousins-sacramento-kings-real-problem
Anti-Cousins Issue #101? Seen'em all, baaaaaaabyyyyy http://www.lakersnation.com/george-...lakers-involving-demarcus-cousins/2016/12/23/ They probably have too
Gone from a great start with the youngsters showing great promise to the same old shit of the last couple of years. Most disturbing are apparent regressions (or lack of improvement) of several players like Russell and Randle. At least Zubac and Nance (if he can stay healthy) are looking like solid pieces for the future.
Yeah just basically the Zubac watch at this point, kinda seen enough from Ingram to know he's legit. 16 points on 5-11FG, 10 rebounds last night, 2nd straight double-double Randle's been playing w/a hip pointer, not really worried there.
http://www.nbadraft.net/2017mock_draft http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2017/ Could make the argument that the Top 5 players in this draft play the PG spot w/a couple wings in the mix
Make a 3 team trade with the Kings and Wolves. Lakers send out Russell, Randle, Mozgov, Deng, Huertas, Young, Williams For... Cousins, Gay, Rubio, LaVine Draft the local kid who plays like Jason Kidd, Lonzo Ball. PG: Ball/Rubio/Calderon SG: Lavine/Clarkson SF: Ingram PF: Gay/Nance C : Cousins/Zubac/Black Roster with lots of flexible pieces. I will miss sweet Louis though.
