So Tom Penn believes LeBron is coming..OKC currently the 7th seed, meh, George should want to join the movement as well. Penn believes George will honor his pledge to Magic, but LeBron has the history of taking less money to make situations more favorable, so among the top FA options, LeBron is perhaps the key to keeping Julius around. It's LeBron that would likely take less $ on the AAV to make room for Julius if he has to. George is going to want his AAV to be maxed out to the fullest extent, as this is his prime payday. Anyway, if this LAL team is currently a 40-ish win team, which they look to be if everybody's healthy, they can win 50+ next year easy with LeBron/George joining..if they can bring Julius and perhaps KCP back and keep some continuity within the team. Lopez sounds like a lock, he wants to stay money be damned, reportedly..LAL can probably get him back on the super-hometown discount vet min. KCP would probably have to take the room exception with an option for a big raise the following year..obviously, LAL has already helped him money-wise, so maybe he'd be loyal to the LAL soil and do that. Julius has always been the biggest question mark, but as one of LAL's Top 3 defensive players, he should be coveted by LeBron. And if LeBron has to take 8-10M less on the AAV to make sure Julius stays, should be a no brainer for him. He's making north of 50M annually off the court, anyway.
Mike BresnahanVerified account@Mike_Bresnahan Brandon Ingram will miss at least two games with a strained groin, as per Lakers’ medical update. The earliest he would return is Sunday against Cleveland. (The rest period of at least one week is retroactive to an MRI exam conducted yesterday, Lakers say.) Dr. Robert KlapperVerified account@DrRobertKlapper 1h1 hour ago #LAKERS. Thank God MRI to #BrandonIngram does NOT show a Labral tear. Labrum is the Meniscus of the Hip! He’ll heal just fine and be Ready for Playoffs! #8thSeed
Trail BlazersVerified account@trailblazers We've managed to beat the Lakers 14 straight times. Tonight, we go for 15. #BeatLA
Yeah, cuz Shaq is phi betta kappa... I just need the dude to dunk, score in the paint, grab offensive rebounds, block shots, defend the post, and hit jumpers from all around the court over all the shorter or slower players. He can believe the earth is round for all I care.
Hope not. Too honestly fucking short. If he was a foot taller he'd be unstoppable, but he ain't. Shot selection tonight was total trash. He can walk with KCP this off-season. Go get me Lebron, PG13, and bring back Randle to start at center
he's turning the ball over a lot no question but he's also got the keys to the ignition if you ask me
Trail BlazersVerified account@trailblazers Nineteen points in the fourth for @Dame_Lillard, seven wins in a row, 15 straight against the Lakers.
