I dont watch anything. Maybe ill catch a highlight when someone posts something on here. I have regressed to my earliest years of being a sports fan. Before i could watch the games on TV because dad dominated the one set. Before i could stay up late to watch the highlights on the news. All i had was my transistor radio to listen to games and the pre and post game commentary. And the boxscores and articles in the paper i would swipe from one of the neighbors who never read them. Today i listen to a little sports talk on most days while i drive or cook. If there is a game ill try to catch a little of it if im alone. When i have company or my family is with me they get all my attention. Then i come here and read what yall have said about the game. Follow the game thread or what not. And i almost always check the box scores for the Lakers and Dodgers. That is the extent of my fandom. When people call me a Puig lover i laugh... if they only knew that i have only seen him swing a bat a short few times. And i know i will be discounted by many as not a true fan. Or worse yet a bad informed fan due to not actually watching the games. Most fans could watch thousands of hours of game and not understand what they are watching. Only a child can learn how to be a student of the game. If by the time you are out of grade school you arent a student of the game you will most likely never learn how to learn. Men are like dogs, and you cant teach an old dog new tricks. But you sure can trick him into believing he knows whats up.

4 weeks from the first pre season game at the Coliseum I love Todd Gurley. Goff, eh. We'll see how it goes. I've never watched an NFL game from start to finish but stoked to have a team, especially the Rams.
If the Chargers get a deal done in SD, you think the Raiders will opt in with the Rams or is Las Vegas a done deal.
and be ready to be let down again. Jeff "Mr. Mediocre" Fisher is still head coach. Compared to the previous two HC they've had (Spagnuolo and Linehan), he's Vince Lombardi, but he's mostly 7-9 to 9-7 for most of his career and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. They'll win games they should lose and lose games they should win and will played undisciplined football. I'll give he and GM Les Snead credit for this........the roster is much improved over the one they took over after Spagnuolo was canned.
The Raiders are committed to Vegas. If Vegas approves funding, the Raiders gave their word to go. It will easily pass a 2/3 owners vote and is a better situation for the team and league than having them in LA as a tenant (plus a massive relovation fee). I don't think the Chargers will get a stadium deal in SD though on the first try. It was just announced that the citizens of SD have to approve by 2/3 vote (not a simple majority like they originally thought) to allow an increase in tourist taxes in order to help subsidize the stadium. They're gonna vote it down. Hopefully Vegas approves funding and the Raiders go there. That way the Chargers can focus longer on SD instead of bolting to LA in fear of losing their spot. And hopefully they eventually get a stadium in SD because they would fail in Los Angeles. They'd be worse than what the Clippers are.
Raiders belong in Oakland and the Chargers belong in SD. Nice that the Rams are back where they belong.
Found my myself watching the summer league games because of the kids. Never thought I would ever do that. Looking forward to seeing them develop.
This I agree with. Although Oakland is doing absolutely nothing to retain the team. They won't even lease the land to Davis so he can privately build a stadium. At some point, he's gotta do what's best for his franchise. Oakland is choking big time.
There are only so many ways Oakland can say "We don't like you. Go away." Not the fans mind you, but city government. Then again, the fans here seem to have given up on doing something to finance a new stadium. They are gone.
back when i was running back and forth to CR i used to have to look for things to keep me busy and would end up watching college football one of my good friends was from georgia and so i would sit and watch games w him on saturdays gurley stood out immediately as a pro player years ago and is a certified stud runner so i couldn't be more excited hopefully the rest of the team is decent and they improve gradually not like it isn't already known that LA doesn't come out for losing teams so i think the ownership will act or else...they move again lol
Yeah the Raiders already laid the blueprint on taking over LA, all you have to do is win. If the Chargers win the SB as the " LA Chargers ", a city like LA with so many fair-weather fans will hug their nuts tighter than SD ever did, especially if the Rams continue to be mediocre while all that's happening. That said, the Chargers aren't ever winning the SB, they choked away the window with Rivers and LT. That ship has sailed and been sunk cause that old, silver ship with the big, black flag is finally causing raucous again, ghosts stirring, Captain Jack with his eye on the prize.
