Commentators always say, "He was great for 3 months in 2013 and then fell off the face of the earth.." but he had like a .380 OBP in 2014 with a good BA, decent pop and good defense in 2014.

But since 2015, I agree. He's been mostly crap. Just can't rely on him at the plate. He's already outplayed his contract, though so once he's a FA, just thank him and move on

Yeah. He’s a great defender and always seems to have a two month stretch where he’s great but set such high expectations in 2013 (fairly or unfairly) that he never met. If they go get someone like Archer at the deadline I’d love for them to get Kiermaier too.
