    Pretty sure he isn't saying that he doesn't care what you have to say, but rather that he doesn't care if Alex Wood is excited to meet his teammates if he means they can get Carrasco.

    Much as I dislike him, Parra is a good pick up for BMore. Somehow still not even 30yrs old yet

    oh yeah @VRP I never told you, there was a time you weren't posting a bit and this dude thought you had lost your Dodger fandom and were gone for good b/c Andre Ethier was doing bad.

    Now that I think of it, maybe b2b or sleepy Floyd or wtv his name is, has been in a much worse mood cause CC isn't starting :( sorry bud, get your head up. I'm sure he'll start a couple days and do good before his next DL stint.

    You know what I mean dude. Trade deadlines aren't about being rational as a fan. This is the week of fantasy. Everyone covets those big names. Seems like we hear reports we are in the lead for someone and then BOOM. Astros, Toronto, Texas, etc. Anti climatic is all.

    I don't blame the Dodgers. We got outbid for these guys fair and square. I'm glad we didn't match the package for these guys. Price especially.

    I'm stoked on this front office and how we are able to use our money to net prospects, picks, and entice teams to give up good players. We are exploiting the system and it is awesome. Using money as the sole currency in trades instead of prospects is awesome. I'm happy.

    But don't pretend like Price, Chapman, and Kimbrel type deals aren't what you get most excited for.

    Totally missed my point. We are in the best "window to win" in MLB in my opinion. Unlimited money and a growing farm. But all these big names are going elsewhere and as a fan that sucks on the entertainment side.

    The Padres, Red Sox, and Cubs have discussed an unspecified three-team deal, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports tweets. ESPN.com’s Buster Olney tweeted earlier that there was industry speculation of discussions between the clubs, noting that there were many potential fits between them.

    Cubs To Acquire Dan Haren

    The Cubs have agreed to acquire righty Dan Haren from the Marlins, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports on Twitter. The return remains unreported, but will consist of “multiple minor leaguers,” per MLB.com’s Joe Frisaro (via Twitter).

    Oh shit yeah I mentally put JP in there. Frias looked decent the other day in his rehab, only threw like 25 pitches. Bolsinger could play a swingman/Petit type role for us. Could be really good for three innings at a time
