NBA RUMORS: New Orleans Pelicans Not An Option For Tom Thibodeau, Feels Anthony Davis Will Leave In Free Agency

Should New Orleans Pelicans fans be prepared to lose Anthony Davis in the next three to four years? Tom Thibodeau reportedly thinks so. The earliest Anthony Davis can become an unrestricted free agent is three seasons away, but that apparently doesn't matter to Tom Thibodeau. The ex-Chicago Bulls coach reportedly is uninterested in the New Orleans Pelicans' coach vacancy because he doesn't believe Davis will stick around for the long haul.

I think you are just posting because of Davis, but they already hired a coach

If you had got to start a brand new franchise right now and could pick any player, who would you pick? I'd have a hard time not picking Anthony Davis.

Nah, LeBron enjoys his bye to the Finals in the East too much.

Milwaukee with Parker and the Greek Freak? the Knicks with Melo and the #4 pick?

That was a good ass game, but the Cavs are finished without Kyrie. GS is very deserving of the championship, but I've never seen a luckier path in my life. Conley and Tony Allen hobbled in the Memphis series, LAC taking out SA and then choking to a Houston team without their starting PG, Klove and Irving both getting hurt. But they can only face who is in front of them and they earned it with their great regular season.

Takes a little luck to win a title. They still are the most talented team in basketball. Can't take anything away from them. By far the best regular season team and so far the best playoff team

I'd still pick LeBron...but AD is probably #2 on that list.

No doubt. I just wish the lame ass Clippers didn't deny us a Spurs-Warriors series. But GS can't control who they face and they would have more than likely beat the Spurs if the fraudulent Clippers did.

Hard to disagree. LeBron's impact on teams is ridiculous. Heat miss the playoffs without him after making 4 straight Finals, and Cavs go from a non playoff team to making the Finals.

He almost won that game by himself tonight. Lots of bad things people can say about LeBron, but I still think he's the best player in the NBA right now.

It's not even close. He is going to get hell for that missed shot at the end of regulation, but the Cavs were only in that position because of him. He received hell in the past for passing in situations like that and now receives hell for taking that shot. A lot of people have blind hatred when it comes to him, but he's by far the best player in the league.

Too bad about Kyrie but on the bright side for the Cavs they now have an excuse for not winning if they indeed lose.

I would have rather seen LAC-GS in the conference finals personally. That rivalry for a chance to go to the finals?

And they were only a couple games out from making the playoffs with that depleted, pieced together roster. Sure it's the east but the playoffs are the playoffs.
