Clowney has been an underachiever, even in college. Not surprising Houston would let him go.

Clowney had 4 full seasons of football in Houston, was a Pro Bowler in 3 of them and among the elite edge defenders in the league in those seasons.

Over the same length of time, Watt has been able to play one full season, playing less 8 full games in each of the years his season ended early.

    Terrible decision.

I wasn't defending the injury prone Watt, just saying Clowney has never produced to his draft position or skills, despite being named to the Pro Bowl, which you know is a joke.

Playing in the Pro Bowl is a joke..all the replacements and what not. Being selected to the Pro Bowl is not a joke. AJ Green opening his career being selected to 7 straight Pro Bowls is not a joke. Pat Peterson being selected to 8 straight Pro Bowls to open his career is not a joke.

Aside from that, Clowney's just graded out among the elite edge defenders in the league for the majority of the time he's been in the league. Just a fact. Clowney's been better than you think and will more than likely be rewarded this offseason

Derek Carr echoed what Jon Gruden said. "This is the NFL. This is not high school football and college football. It doesn't matter what the spread is or who is picked to win. You got to show up and play and I don't expect Cincinnati to come out here and roll over."

    Sounds good.

Potentially. Playing both the run and rushing the passer at an elite level is going to make Clowney desirable for a solid amount of teams, but his sheer size on the edge would make him a scheme fit for the RAIDERS and that has to be appealing to some degree. But I would expect something to get done between Clowney and the Seahawks though..they actually have close to $70M in cap space, similar to the RAIDERS

Either way, happy as hell Clowney didn't end up with KC and that they grabbed Frank Clark instead

Hoping Ferrell can keep trending in the right direction. Playing him outside exclusively the last couple weeks..the light is flickering. Mack only had 4 sacks his rookie year. Ferrell has 3 sacks with 7 games left..not that sacks are everything.

But Crosby is Jared Allen, IMO. Even Howie Long is drawing the comparison from Crosby to Allen. Ferrell only needs to be solid if Crosby keeps up this performance. But if both hit it'll be the perfect storm. Sure would be nice if Dion Jordan turned the corner and pulled a Waller for us

Nah, fuck that. Rudolph is a jackass. Steelers went out like punks. Rudolph trying to take Myles Garrett's helmet off after the tackle..Garrett jumps up and snatches Rudolph's helmet off and beats him with it. Lol Bum

These QBs, I tell you. Then Rudolph gets to finish the game like he didn't initiate the shit. QBs never held accountable. Always protected

Nah, there is no defending that BS. Rudolph could've had his career ended due to that roid raged jackass. Pouncey put his bitch ass in his place as he cowered on the grass in fear when guys his own size wanted some action.

Anyways, thanks for the win Cleveland.

Garrett did his dirt, but Rudolph initiated it trying to take Garrett's helmet off. That's all I'm sayin. These QBs in this era shouldn't even be considered football players, they're so protected. It's good to see one get handled

All that said, yeah..6-seed RAIDERS, baby. Knock on wood if you're with that

All the momentum from a great win is erased for Cleveland lol. Mayfield being interviewed and acting like his dog just died. Up 21-7 and the game secured....what a dumbass.
