My kids and I just watched some 'singers' perform America the Beautiful & the National Anthem at the SB55.

My four-year-old daughter spoke a mouthful..."Is this game ever gonna start?"

That's my girl ... keeping it real.

Pissed at the Niners all over again after this half

KC down by multi TDs again. Will somebody finally shut the door on their asses? Barrett and Pierre Paul need heavy maintenance at half time, tires rotated, etc.

KC's dynasty may have to wait to start after all.

Funny how you still have to play the game, right? Even in a flawed era, it's good knowing that still persists.

KC really should've lost to the Browns. Wouldn't blame the Browns if they tried to trade for Watson

Unbelievable performance by the Bucs D tonight. I know Brady will get all the headlines tomorrow, and deservedly so, but the Bucs holding the Chiefs to no TDs is nothing short of incredible. Brady knew what he was doing when he went to the Bucs, all the pieces were there for this run.

I ain't blaming anyone. TB got gifted 14 in the first half by the refs but that didn't matter, part of it was Andy Reid's fault for calling timeouts that let them have time at the end of the half to even go down and score. Britt Reid is a dumb ass and went and distracted his father and the team at the worst possible time, but that ain't why. Chiefs got out played. OL pushed out 4 terrible backups and the only decent, healthy one was the least important member of the line (the center). Mahomes had to turn around and run backwards because there was free rusher on about half his snaps. He still had a couple TD's hit receivers right in the helmets while making pressured off balance throws though. I'm just bummed out. Tom Brady needs to go away. He's won enough of these.

He had a good amount of fortune too. Green Bay loses their LT, KC loses their whole line. Just same old same old for Brady.

So ... most folks hate TB, right? I get that vibe.

I don't. I don't love him either. I don't care enough to have an opinion. But man ... the internet meltdowns that wish endless misery on him are weird. The guy is a champion, no doubt. But socmed is in full retard mode right now. Unbelievable.

As for Belichek, I know some here hate him, too. But I don't think he's bummed to see Brady win without him. The guy still has six rings of his own.

I watched the 1st and 4th quarters. Not much excitement. My kids were underwhelmed. The girls want to know when baseball starts.

Yeah pretty surprised to see KC get held to 0 TDs. I mean I knew the Bucs pass rush would get after Mahomes and KC is fairly overrated but not 0 TDs overrated. Niners really blew it last year giving up that 3rd and 15 bomb to Hill. Mahomes really should be 0-2 in the SB TBH

Bucs definitely had the defense in place for the most part. Still needed Suh to follow Brady and to draft Winfield. Offense needed AB and Gronk to follow as well but they did and ultimately I thank them. Hopefully the Super Bowl hangover is next for KC..should've been this year

Anyone who beats the 49ers is fine by me.

Suh was with the Bucs the previous year. Agree on Winfield. Stud.

So long as it's not Denver or KC for me. Niners mean something totally different to you as a Rams fan

Suh was a free agent last offseason. The point I was making, he chose to follow Brady back to Tampa for less $. Albeit not a new piece, one that wasn't in place until a few days after FA started

Winfield's a good player. Undersized and battles a lot of injuries, but still a good player. Watched his dad play for a long time, he was pretty good too

Winfield broke my Bulldog heart two years in a row with end zone INTs.

What's the relevance of the 'two fingers' thing to Tyreek?

Forget it .... just looked it up and now I know. Gotta love taunting ...

    Sincerely,

Jarvis Redwine (go to 4:30 to see the pride of Inglewood HS get his swerve on)
