Well, by your definition, I am then a "casual" fan, regardless of the annual 158 or so games I watch, and have watched, from the onset of the package availability. I do not find the broadcasts brutal, as you say...but adequate for me on my casual level. I try to focus on the insightful things Reynolds says...but I guess for the non- analytical, they just don't know how bad he is.
Rather than go into how your explanation reads to the less enlightened, thanks for your reply.

 

I don't even study stats or know much about them. But analysts who put them into proper context grab my interest more than the typical commentary.
