    I'd really support taking Randy Gregory, I think he was a little overrated being mocked in the top 10/15 and obviously with his off the field issues not helping, but he'd be a steal at a position of need on day 2.

    that'd be 3 straight home Ls....it might happen. Their lack of a bench has their starters playing crazy minutes and they might be fatigued. But fatigue shouldn't be too much of a factor in a game 7 lol...suck it up.

    Nobody can be as bad as Jamarcus.....that guy had a rocket arm, but zero accuracy. Top that with a terrible work ethic and a brain the size of an ant and you get a gigantic bust. He showed out in his last college game vs a ND team with no defense at all and people lost their minds.

    if Louis Riddick believes that Cooper has more value than Leonard Williams then it's totally believable that Cooper was the top player on multiple team's draft boards.

    The worst part about the Russell pick wasn't even Russell himself..it's that the Raiders, NOTORIOUS for being height/weight/speed/combine freak drafters..passed on two of the ALL-TIME combine freaks to ever come out of college. Two future hall of famers that are arguably the most talented players at their positions..EVER..Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson. That was THE WORST DRAFT OF ALL TIME for the Raiders. All time. Even in death, I still can't forgive Al for that one. That bullshit set us back somethin serious.

    Yep, a lot of Raiders fans wanted CJ #1. The guy was a freak at Georgia Tech and you could tell there was no way he'd be a bust, but we thought we found a franchise changing QB which trumphs any WR. But we didn't do enough HW on Jamarcus and fell in love with his only real strength.....his ability to throw the long ball.

    it was a devastating miscalculation. LSU beat Brady Quinn ( another bum) and Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl and the Russell hype began. nobody even gave a damn about the guy before that game.

    Raiders picking Gregory might be similar to the Carr pick last year. some respected analysts believed that Carr was the best QB in that draft class before the draft, and some respected analysts believe that Gregory is the best pass rusher in this draft class.

    Fowler's main mode of pass rush at Florida was as a blitzer up the middle..he didn't do a lot of battling with tackles on the edge. Beasley accomplished more against tackles/on the edge than Fowler did, but Fowler is perhaps a more natural athlete than Khalil Mack. more bend and flexibility. Gregory, however, is a more natural/stronger athlete than Fowler is and he accomplished as much as Beasley against tackles.

    Gregory being mentored by Herm Edwards helps, but rumors are goin around that he's got anxiety/depression issues and so it's more than weed at the base of it all. it's kinda weird..Bruce Irvin had a lot of issues as well and Seattle took a chance on him and Ken Norton helped him a ton. of course the Raiders now have Norton and whole bunch of other former-players on the coaching staff, so maybe it'd be a fit? it's a tough call.
