    I don't mean that he has lost it overall...I mean he can be rolling along with probably the most efficient game he has pitched in many outings, but then for a couple of innings, boom... just throw kinda meatball after meatball it seems, without correcting it.
    I guess it is me, but I can't look at what happened last night, and not feel some concern.

    Don't get it at all. Hit him 7th. Is Don scared of hurting his feelings? It's not even like he's having good at bats and making good contact. For example, Grandal was having some good ABs and making hard contact but not getting results, so you could see a turnaround possible.

    Rollins could easily turn it around its obviously early but he's not the best option to be getting that many at bats.

    And it's not like Rollins value is entirely tied into his hitting. Rollins can still be a valuable player if he's not hitting well cause of his position and defense there. But you're fucking up the team if you have him sucking in the 2 hole (ayoooooo)

    played today's game on my phone...
    i took zack out after 7 with a 5-1 lead
    i put in hatcher and played defense on auto to see what happened
    he gave up the lead in the 8th and [after we tied it on a joc solo hr] he gave up a walkoff hr in the 9th

    Don is being a player's manager. He doesn't seem to like making the tough calls that could put him out of favor with players. Maybe he feels the need to make Rollins feel good in what is probably his last hurrah. But damn it, Don, grow some balls and bat him low. If you want to be a people pleaser, lead us to a title.

    NL needs to get the DH and give teams the option of which position the DH hits for so the Dodgers can have a DH for Rollins
