They do....things can go "sour", like the ground in Pet Cemetery"...the spookiest film I ever saw. I do think the Chief BB God is from St Louis, and that has something to do with it all. The Cardinals are fcuking spooky, as you know.
It's almost as one cannot mention Kershaw, without making a "mistake" in phrasing or describing him so far this year, according to other opinions. Like it's a mortal sin to mention that he has had some human problems, and something's was/is afoot. Last night, he had horrible luck. Just horrible. I guess that is what comes when you talk about greatness...one of the things that makes BB the best.
and jimmy promptly responds with a 4-for-5/ 2 run/ 2 rbi performance hmmm... who shall i curse inspire today?...
He himself even has those lofty somewhat unrealistic standard which makes him the great pitcher that he is. I just thought it wasn't a "great" outing as described. 3 walks and the amount of pitches was what I looked at to form my opinion, bloop hits happen.
CF Hernandez SS Rollins 2B Kendrick 1B Turner LF Guerrero RF Van Slyke 3B Uribe C Ellis P Greinke These lineups against lefties can be annoying but at least De La Rosa is a good pitcher to do this against. Righties in his career have had a .802 OPS and lefties a .626 OPS I like the way it gives Adrian and Ethier a day off at there ages, but would like to see Joc get some chances against a lefty to see what he has cause I can't see it being justified to bench him in a big game against a lefty so why not see what he can do against them. Just a minor thing that probably doesn't matter much the way the bench has been hitting and it's always good to see Hernandez, Guerrero, Turner, Van Slyke, and Uribe get a game in. LETS WIN
my biggest problem is resting adrian against a guy he hits well 3hr/14rbi .370/.455/.696 in 46 at bats why not rest him against someone he has problems with? :mattingly:
Well, there is that, and on the other hand, the Dodgers best hitter vs De La Rosa is... Adrian Gonzalez, and it isn't even close. He should not be getting a "rest" or whatever the fuck Donnie calls it today.
Haha Zack is going to be pissed that AJ is catching him! He's made a point in a couple of post match interviews to praise the shit out of Grandal's catching.
Rollin's gotta move that runner over. Some sad bunt attempts followed by pull swings, not good hitting.
he got on base. Howie is the one who fucked up and hit into a double play. Then Turner is impatient and hits another ground out.
BTW, I thought that double steal last by the Rox was a great, ballsy call by whoever the guy is filling in for Weiss.Good baseball.
