Look, I was going to let it go, but I wanted to say something about you.

Your "sleepyfloyd" or whatever handle started showing up on these boards a month or so ago. To me that means 1 of two things. (A) You are a complete newbie just trying to swing you d*ck (emphasize lower case) around to prove some improvable point, or (B) you were so shamed with your "provacative" points that you had to come back here with a new handle and avatar. Believe me, both of those scenarios are not a complement to you.

I've been on these boards since they were created during the exedous from the old ESPN boards, and I've always kept my handle the same for all those years too. I'm Gebbeth....that's all.

These are boards, so you can post your opinions, be an azzhole, hey, it's all good. Although I am not the most frequenent poster, and I admit I am not the most knowledgable baseball mind, I've been around baseball and have rooted for this team since the headbreaks of the 70's losing against Reggie Jackson and the Yankees, and the joy of Fernandomania and the miracle of the '88 team.

I remember when my teacher put on the old TV in class to watch Rick Monday pull off the winning run against the Expos all those years ago, and the heartbreak of Neidenfuerer giving up the winning run against the Cardinals.

Which is to say, I've seen what it takes to have a winning Dodger team, and the misery of both mediocre teams that had no chance and teams that had wasted opportunities.

But whenever there is a discussion, I always assume that among the banter, sometimes heatec, there is a respect for a Dodger fans statements or opinions. But hey, I know this is a boad....anything goes....right?

Sleepy....you post not to discuss or debate....you post merely to belittle, spew your suppossed surperiority, ti just provoke for provocations sake, or just to be a smartazz. None of this is really admirable.

Please dont try to state unequivocably what "my point" was in anything I post. You dont have that skill. just take it for face value what I meant. I'M WAAAAAAY to old for someone like you to presume my thoughts.

You come off as some guy, spending way too much time in the basement, claiming you run an internet empire, spewing your "wisdom" in the most smug way possible, when your only experience with the Dodgers is the 20+ years of nothing or mediocrity or worse. This is the basis of your so-called knowledge of the Dodgers. No wonder you post with the misplaced arrogance you do.
