Breaking news, Lakers intend to select Brandon Ingram with the #2 pick barring a blockbuster trade, reported by Chad Ford and Ramona Shelburne So yeah, it's pretty open and shut now with Ingram @ #2 unless they draft him and then trade him for say a Paul George, Jimmy Butler, or ( Melo, which would signify some LeBron to LAL wheels turning I believe) The #32 pick is more intriguing at this point unless you don't consider trading Ingram as an option. A few names to watch @ #32, Brice Johnson/Diamond Stone/Thon Maker/Malcolm Brogdon
Maybe Luke doesnt mind keeping swaggy p around? He can shoot and luke looks to be a much more relaxed shoothappy players coach.
Have no fear, Young is done. Will be waived and stretched using the stretch provision unless they find a trade, he's not even being mentioned by LAL execs or Luke himself as a part of their picture.
Sure i feel the same way... But he is tall and can shoot. Under luke he may go back to being a .400 3pt shooter. Maybe after his fiasco with that trap rapper he was engaged to he will grow up some. Dangelo did him a huge favor.

Realgm.com The Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons are amongst the teams who intend to pursue Al Horford this offseason. I think the Hawks are about to go into rebuild mode after being swept two years in a row by Cleveland and dealing Teague. Doubt they end up resigning Horford....I would love him.
REALGM Wiretap The Los Angeles Lakers plan on selecting Brandon Ingram with the second overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, barring a last minute blockbuster trade. The Lakers spent three hours huddled with new head coach Luke Walton on Tuesday night before signaling to multiple league sources that Ingram would be their choice if Ben Simmons goes first to the Philadelphia 76ers. We knew that already, but it's still nice to read. Love Ingram's upside and I think he fits perfectly with what the Lakers need.
man Brandon Ingram is going to be a Laker tomorrow we're been talking about this for 10 months it's really about to happen
I really hope though we get some real impact FA to just solidify the youth + proven talent mix. Don't want to be lottery bound or turn into Philly West. We need to turn the corner. It's like I feel we are turning the corner, but would love some tangible signings.
