Show mom some old footage of big sleep Tracy McGrady, she might be willing to purchase the weed for Ingram at that point
http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-...s-an-unnamed-trade-target-in-mind/2016/07/21/ May have a lil somethin brewing here
We're kind of counting on these kids gelling soon right damned soon The youngsters all look fairly strong so I'm hopeful that they learn to work well together and learn to win Mozgov and Deng? Well I'm just going to have to hope that they bring some "A" game to the show. Presuming that either has any "A" game left that is
Just picked up two 2nds in that Calderon deal, could possibly turn into a late 1st round pick in the future. Like that piece said, they're probably waiting to see if another opportunity like that presents itself. I could see it happening with Kevin Love as the guy moving to somewhere like Boston and LAL stepping in and taking someone like Amir Johnson and a couple more draft picks from Boston. Shrewd shit, but LAL is raping the system, just doing it below the radar and from the bottom instead of where they usually pull it off - from the top and loud [no homo] And with the way Mitch and Jim are turning 2nd rounders into gold, the league should be afraid of what's coming
WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/17327744/los-angeles-lakers-agree-terms-china-star-yi-jianlian
probably can hit 3 pointers now, finally lakers wanted him a long long time ago and now they have him lol plus his outside shot is a lot better, at least in FIBA 3 point range
lol and after we made this stellar move we can bring in some others like kwame brown LMFAO whats next benoit benjamin? https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/f...ooking-to-make-an-nba-comeback-201042167.html
Yi predicts to a complete flyer to see if 'this time' he's ready for NBA prime time.. but at 28 and 6'11" and averaging 20.4 points per game during the Olympics then 'maybe, just maybe' he can contribute for the Lakers. I'm willing to watch and learn. Kwame on the other hand is toast. Burnt toast. He's nearly an ancient 35 and never could shoot for shit. He's been released from nearly every losing team in the NBA which alone tells us enough. No thank you. So our current Lakers bigs are Randle, Nance, Mozgov, Ingram and Deng with Yi filling in. Not so bad overall even if Zubac doesn't grow up right away. Overall that is a LOT of big talent when GSW plays small ball FTW. Also time for MWP to retire. Just saying that I love his hard nosed approach but he's ancient too and now a defensive liability rather than a stalwart And Kelly? Who knows? Too wispy.. and too white. Needs to add 20+ lbs and play in the hood for the summer. Learn some street toughness skills already.
They just replaced Kelly with Yi pretty much. Yi can shoot the 3 now at a decent clip so he may be a good option on nights somebody struggles. I still hope we end up keeping Tarik Black because he is much needed muscle we are missing in the post. And even though he hasnt played much in the league he is a veteran in comparison to the other bigs on the roster. We are almost too deep up front. Deng and Ingram better play all their minutes at SF so these other dudes can get some shine.
the only thing is that Tarik Black... SUCKS. No shooting touch whatsoever. None. Big? Sure. Bruising? Sure. But the game is called basketball because players are supposed to be able to shoot the ball and score. And he can't. Black is glued in place, people drive around him. Not much D overall and zero O makes for a losing combination. Which might have flown on last year's Lakers but this year we need performance out of all hands on deck I'm much more comfortable with Deng or Ingram who each show moves that result in points
