Well, I know you were flipped out when you wrote this, so perhaps ypu didn't really mean the " clutch" thing. Because even though we are an EPIC failure as far as RISP team ( 29th in MLB ?), Turner blasting a HR in the 9 th very clutch. Imo. It was on Kenley, and there was no overreaction about this guy. He is a problem in big spots. Ever wonder why the geniuses went out and got Chapman at all ? Hmmm... He is just a big game blower, wherever the pitch was or whoever is hot. He missed the spot big time, and he shit the bed. And he's done it before. Joc is abyssmal and his great play in CF was equalled by his huge E out there. Useless offensively. He's getting hard to watch, and is as quirky as Puig now. A looney. Hard to ascertain where Gonzo is, but he is definitely hurting the team batting cleanup, that's for sure. An unforgettable loss to a team that has our number. We cant beat these pricks or the Giants, when it really coumts, and Kenley is seeing to it that it doesnt change with either of them when we should have.
It's gotten down to JT, Corey and HK, with Utley sprinkled in as the offense. Really dont expect much from anywhere or anyone else.
Wow..therein lies the psychological rub, I guess. Good stat. Maybe that is when we would have used the rootin tootin cowboy, Aroldis...up by one.
Turner should definitely kick him in the nuts. He hit a 2 r HR in the 8th at SD to put us up 1 before Kenley blew that game to Melvin Upton. Turner hit a go ahead HR in the 10th at SF before Jansen blew that game, and last night Turner hits another go ahead HR and Jansen blows it. Next time Turner hits a clutch HR late, we know what's coming.
That's the stat I was looking for in the news/rumors thread, and it's not surprising at all. That's just this year I'm assuming as well? I'd be willing to bet it's similar for the rest of his career. I think it's pretty apparent the guy just can't come through when the pressure is on.
JPL ^^^^ Well it's all a pipe dream now...we couldn't wait and have anyone like him tainting LAD " tradition". All well and good, but there is also now the LAD tradition of not playing on the WS for almost 3 decades.
You never know...could be one of his off nights, and he would miss his spot...punch you on the shoulder or something. Than you could pounce and trounce... Lol
He's a pussy. Doesn't talk to the media when he chokes, can't handle 1 run games, bitched when we had Chapman for a minute, etc.
