Irrespective of your's or Joy Behar's wants, last year's Reddick trade or his demotion, Puig has improved his game and more importantly, is a big part of the swagger of the team this year and should not be moved or demoted for a prospect. Sorry.
Broadscale, LAD probably stopped worrying about Puig's value after essentially designating him as their 8-hole guy. I mean if they were trying to hike Puig's value up to whatever it's apex could be at this point, they'd probably be moving him up in the lineup to show that he could still be one of those guys. So on one hand batting 8th helps him because we see the production in a lesser role, but on the other hand it hurts him because it just confirms that he's a smaller role type of fella now
I agree and think he should get the day off. That said I hope he proves me wrong and goes yard twice! LOL
Hope so. It's not that he's striking out, it's that he looks horrible doing it. Used to be even when he K'ed he looked like he had a clue. Not recently.
I think having Cody be in the cleanup spot might be a little too much too early? Getting to him perhaps?
Highly unlikely, but if somehow Adrian found the Fountain of Youth I'd welcome him back in the 4 hole, with Bellinger behind him at #5.
The best hitters in the game go through slumps. He's obviously the same. Few more games he'll be back. Relax guy.
Foot scan for Ryu. Will miss next start. http://m.dodgers.mlb.com/news/article/240065088/dodgers-hyun-jin-ryu-to-undergo-foot-scan/
MLB All Star selection tonight I always thought you had to be an all star to participate in the HR Derby Maybe MLB making an exception for Bellinger with their Derby invite..or tipping their hand that Bellinger made the all star team, which he should
There was a player recently (last 5 years) that hit in the derby but wasn't voted to the all star team. Someone can look it up for the lazy bastards like me!
