That’s what kills me too. All my diehard friends and then us here and other people online all can’t make it cause yeah. I could technically afford to go but throwing down 2-3K on a game makes it hard to enjoy tbh. I’m perfectly fine watching on TV in other ways.
fuck, if we do it right we might even make a hefty profit! (^says irish, while contemplating a suitable ransom for mary hart's safe return)
i too could afford it, but i refuse to pay that much not when -- for the same amount -- i could a new mac, bigscreen tv, new iphone, ps4 and still have cash left over just kills me when the bandwagon douche pseudo-celeb homofuck cunt bitches pop out of the woodwork when it's suddenly vogue to go to dodger stadium i make fun of mary hart because, well... she's mary hart but at least she's not a fair weather fan, having been to (probably) every home game the past couple years i just feel sorry for the real fans -- the ones that been going to games all year (some every year) -- that are suddenly unable to afford a ticket to see their team play
Yeah, I just dropped 7 grand on some modest home renovations and I had my wife leave her job to finish school. Not in the cards. Been listening to a lot of Dave Ramsey's Financial podcast lately and refuse to go into debt or plummet my savings on luxuries.
kiyosaki made a lot of impression on me rich dad poor dad is an excellent read but yeah theres no way from there to here if you spend like you have it have to deny yourself and save and invest wisely some old guy once said when asked how he generated wealth "good decisions" and how did he learn to make good decisions? experience and where did the experience come from? "bad decisions"
No dig on Altuve, but that is a fucking LL HR...that park is ridiculous. A grounder through the ss get fielded by the LF practically at the wall...
Not that it would have made a difference, but Sanchez hasn't caught one of the throws in from an OF yet in this series. Wow is he bad on D.
