Ok phew. My doctor was recommended by my doctor who I trust implicitly. He does surgery out of Huntington hospital and I've had nothing but good things to say about them due to my wife's frequent visits to same day surgery.
Godspeed man. And after yours is done and you feel it all working well give me his info so he can look at mine. I think I need a second opinion as my surgeon looked at it and said it was 'fine' even though it was still painful 6 months after surgery and still hurts to this day. Then again I feel like bitching is a sin when I compare how I feel now to how I felt before surgery. So I kinda feel like the guy who is choking and then sues the dude who performed a Heimlich on him because of a few broken ribs.
any must see stuff to do or eat or whatever in Spain? want to see Dali's place south of Barcelona 14 hours fuck
Out of blue and just announced today.........Neil Young and Crazy Horse kicking off a tour in Fresno next Tues in a small venue. Already got my tix. https://consequenceofsound.net/2018...-horse-to-reunite-for-first-shows-since-2014/
Damn....Barcelona is a freaking awesome city. The food and history and architecture is 2nd to none. If you want a huge seafood plate full of gambas, langoustine, clams etc, try Suquet de L'Almirall, at Passeig Joan de Borlo 65, Barceloneta near the port. Set Portes is one of the best places in Barcelona for paella. Passeig d'Isadell II. Quimet y Quimet is one of the best and best loved tapas bars. Poeta Cabanyes 25. Please stop by La Mercat de la Boqueria along Las Ramblas which is like the main street market. 100's of food game sellers. A must. El Quim in the market is one of the best places to eat. Try the morcia and tripas. Walk down Las Ramblas as well. Lots things to see. If you want to go someplace interesting, try to score seats at Tickets. It is a restaurant run by one of the most innovative chefs in the world (Albert Adria, brother of Feran Adria, who founded El Bulli) Avenguda Paral·lel 164, Barcelona. If you want really upscale, try to get reservations to El Cellar de Can Roca. One of the top restaurants in the world. Calle Can Sunyer 48, 17007 Girona, just north of Barcelona. So many places to eat...Passadis del Pep, Can Mayo, Rafa’s in San Sebatio....there is no end. Plus a lot of simple places to stop by and eat good food. Don’t forget to down some beers, wine and Sidra with your tapas (pintxos is what the Basque call it on the other side of the country). For sights, La Sagrada Familia-the unfinished Cathedral by Gaudi, MNAC - National Museum of Catalunya, Casa Milla and Casa Batillo for architecture. The Dali museum as you say is up north along the coast. Never been though. I hear it is a blast. At least for one breakfast, have Spanish hot chocolate with a churros. Spanish hot chocolate is outrageously rich. Enjoy!
out in the morning but gonna screen shot this right now thanks for taking the time and i know i'm going to hit some of these, staying in Las Ramblas my step daughter is so laid back i know we are going to soak it in want to see the simple things 2 days in Madrid and the fast train to Barcelona for 4 so fucking excited and that doesn't even count the week in Prague w both of them i'm a lucky man
Freakin A. Madrid too? Don't get me started. I have a few places to recommend there too. Want crispy suckling pig, Botin.....the oldest restaurant in the world. Really an experience. I know you only have a couple of days, but if you are flexible, you can visit Segovia or Toledo. Very beautiful ancient cities. At the very least, visit Plaza Major....the central plaza. Go to one of the cafes there and soak in the sun with some cafe. If you are into the museum thing, got to go to El Prado. Don't leave without having some Jamon D'Iberico. Uncured ham made from special black footed pigs. Cured old style, and it is banned in the US because of food safety laws. It's perfectly safe, but the US won't allow anything that is completely sterilized for some reason. Madrid is more sophisticated and urbane vs more laid back Barcelona. Think NYC vs LA. Again, have fun and explore. Envious as hell.....went their before my 2nd kid was born. Now, I can barely get out of my house other than for work. BTW, I took that fast train too. Not that fast because of the stops, but beats anything we have. Damn movies they show are all in Spanish which is a problem for me. FYI, security is tight at the airports and train stations. Don't be surprised if they randomly stop you for inspections. They had terrible terrorist attacks in Madrid in the past so they don't kid around.
I also went to Prague when I was single. Such a beautiful city. But I went there about 3 years after the Berlin wall came down, so it was still very Eastern Block European. The food at the time sucked (lots of boiled dumplings and backed chicken cafeteria style), and the water pipes were rusty and would spit out brown water. I had to sleep in the main train station for awhile. Now, it should be much better. The city is split between the old and new city. The old city has Baroque and Rocco style buildings plus St. Vitus Cathedral on the hill. Visit the Old Town Square....it has one of the most elaborate clocks you will ever see. Every hour on the hour. The Prague Orloj. There is the Powder Tower, Charles Bridge, Church of Our Old Lady Before Tyn, the Mala Strana (visit St. Nicholas Church....there are two, one in Old Town, the other in Mala Strana...I like the Mala Strana on better). Most importantly, drinks loads of beer....so many......so good. The best Pilsners in the world. Try U Fleku....it's a beer hall with long benches where you eat with other people, sing drinking songs, get drunk together and gnosh. They have their own dark brew and an endless tap.....a big barrel of beer with a tap and no stopper, so it keeps flowing and they just keep filling glass steins of beer. You have been warned.
Wow...what a restaurant review. Awesome. The only thing I can chime in with, is that the Dali Museum in FL is a blast...so the one in Spain must really be something.
thanks again for all that info @Gebbeth on the fly, will try to check in Prague is where my very fortunate child has been finishing he school the last 4 months so she has a full agenda for us there plus Dresden and maybe Vienna she said its a beer drinkers paradise...apparently the number one beer consumption per capita lol
If I ever rape multiple women or cut my ex-wife's head off, I want the OJ/Bill Cosby punishments. Free at last...
In the world he is loathed. In prison he would be beloved once again. For people in prison a celebrity getting chicks drunk/drugged to sleep with them in their hotel room is not a crime. That is just being a rockstar. Dude would live his last days as a king feted by both inmates and staff. I said feted btw
obviously, not saying it is a preference blue. i am saying relatively speaking as compared to any other inmate he would not be a pariah in prison like other types of sex offenders are right now in the world he is looked upon by many as a step shy of being a pedophile or a serial rapist
a good thing to perhaps come out of this not sure if this was the absolute first... but his indiscretions certainly helped bring light to a lot of others -- weinstein, et al fucken assholes one thing to take advantage of your standing/situation/status... to a degree but to take advantage of others -- especially if it's abusive and/or without consent... fucken predators anyway, rambling a bit this shit just pisses me off and i don't necessarily agree rube that he would be revered in prison -- especially if any of the girls he abused were under 18 you don't get a lot of prison cred for being a juvenile tree jumper quite the opposite in fact (see jeffrey dahmer) only thing worse is killing an unborn child (see charles manson) despite being felons, most prison inmates abide by an honor amongst thieves of course (and in accordance w/what huh? said), cosby/weinstein et al will probably get the country club isolation because of their wealth only in america bkitches
Cosby was smart enough to not get into it with sub 18 girls. All seemed to be aspirants to the entertainment industry that would willfully go up to his room. Then again, willfully is relative when drugs are involved. The dude could have been spiking their drink at the bar for all we know. Probably learned all those sly tricks when working on I Spy
these fucken sociopaths believe they're above the law and, until recently, they have been and tbh, no love lost on cosby who i never liked
To tell you the truth, the reason I included Cosby in the original post was because I heard on Howard Stern that it was a hung jury...so he walks then. What I didn't know was the show was a repeat of the one that aired the day after the first trial. So pissed off, I posted it. I had told.my significant other, and when she went to work and mentioned it, they told her she was crazy. So to get back at me, she calls me up and asks me "did I hear that Justin Turner is out for the whole year"? After my initial flipping the fuck out, she tells me " I got my info from the same place you got yours about Cosby". She got me good, but that was way, way over the line. There are lines one does not cross...
This would be a welcomed improvement, despite being funded by FUCKFACE! http://urbanize.la/post/proposed-gondola-system-could-link-dodger-stadium-union-station
