Couple new reports, one says rival execs expect Jimmy Butler to sign with either LAL or Brooklyn. The other report says Kyrie will give LAL a meeting in free agency. Butler is turning 30 in sec and probably older than that in bball years thanks to Thibs and knee surgeries, so Kyrie is probably the preference + already built in on court chemistry with LeBron, of course
Lebron may make him a starter. He like hardworking white guys who pass him the ball and make open 3s and try to play white boy defense.
Lol KCP killed the Jabari Parker trade. Not that it's really anything to give a damn about because Parker is meh, but that's what reportedly happened to that deal. Was going to be KCP and Beasley to CHI for Parker. The financials of some of these 1yr deals, by league rule, gives veto power to some guys and KCP swung the hammer
Ok, so what actually happened..all parties involved were waiting on KCP's decision, and then AD decided to make himself available and the LAL FO just moved on to that bit of big business
Didn’t even inform Jeanie...lol Live odds of the Lakers chances to sign a major free agent 1/500000000000000
Caved under pressure of all the negative leaks and that's a damn shame. A LA sports hero, probably the greatest in the city's history and he went out with a whimper. You think the leaks were bad..shit's really about to hit the fan. However, now, all of a sudden the boss position is open for one Gregg Popovich who's a FA.
Pelinka is so hated around the league, he probably is next. Had to read about his lie to Nance today, as if he's the only exec that's ever lied to a player. If Nance was dumb enough to believe he would only be traded for a superstar, that's pretty much on Nance and his agent. Lol So fucked up
Money talks, you know what walks He has a pretty good relationship with both LeBron and Kyrie And his underling Danny Ferry holds the keys to AD
I'd normally agree with you but in this case I just dont see it. hes made enough money he hates the Lakers his wife just died and the last one is important. He has dedicated his life to coaching. im sure she was his rock. Death of your life partner may just make him count his blessings and move on. Travel, spend more time with the kids and grand kids. Im sure his wife played that role when he was coaching. He may be stepping down to step up in that regard.
There's never enough money for a breadwinner. He hates the Lakers because he's a Spur, until the end of the season when he's not. His wife dying was definitely sad, but he's still coaching. He " had enough money " when she died, right? We'll see what happens.
Fratello spot on. This job is different. The pressures of this job stand alone. What I want to know is why the fuck is Linda Rambis a special advisor to Jeanie? GTFO
