“As we sit here today, James Outman, who has had a great second half, is not playing against a left-hander. So it’s just understanding and appreciating that I use the whole roster, and you have to be ready when called upon. For Kiké and Amed to be here and not playing against a lefty doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for me right now.” what a fucken idiot you made the decision to sit kiké and amed, so who the fuck are you debating with?
Holy shit! Really ? As they say in my home town..." ees gone 'round nee ouses" (= he's gone around the houses), meaning he's fucking totally lost it. A loony. Or has fully embraced idiocy, rejected reality, and now hears voices. They have places that try and treat that condition. Don't they ? I'm pretty sure it's not the dugout...
Thanks, irish, for noticing that this thread needed an update. I feel like I neglected my duty to keep it fresh. Scarecrow has the absolute worst awareness of which players are hot and which are cold. Successful managers have a perception of momentum, and they make sure they provide the most opportunities to the players that have it, thereby getting the most out of them which in term helps the team. Scarecrow tries to make sure everyone gets PT. It's like T-Ball - everyone plays. Yippee! Can we someday have a manager that doesn't have the need to be liked by everyone on the roster?
really starting to completely hate this douchebag and the ownership that champions an obvious equity hire back slapping pos
and you just knew he was simmering ready to throw a guy under the bus on Almonte “It’s pretty easy in my chair. You give guys opportunities, and they play themselves into their own roles. I’ll leave it at that.”
Easy to say when playing himself into his own role doesn't apply since he's protected by the boxes he checks. Because if he wasn't, he'd have played himself into broom closet manager by now.
exactly but now he actually thinks none of the stink sticks to him and he's looking down in judgement on his players instead of what real leaders do hard to believe the players don't stop playing along at some point literally who the fuck is he to act like that? dude was a middling utility outfielder that stole a base once and acts like it entitles him a seat on the throne he's done nothing w some of the best teams ever assembled and continues to make brain dead choices only to give the heat to his guys instead of defending them in the case of Yency it could be as simple as not wanting to call him Yens for this simpleton
If it were another time maybe. Definitely. But that was then, this is now. It's like that fucking clown Soto and his antics AB and his HR trot. Never happen. He wears a fb next time up, by anybody who was on the mound, not just DD or Gibson. "Entertainment value" my ass Orel. If that has value, then the umps are Sammy Davis, Jr. and Michael Jackson rolled into one.
what a fucken piece of shit wouldn't have been in almonte's hands had he not needlessly burned evan the night before matter of fact, could have easily let grove and/or yarbrough go a bit longer to -- i don't know -- maybe preserve the bullpen fucken idiot couldn't manage a mcdonalds, let alone an mlb team just wish friedman has the balls to randomly shit on roberts the way he does to his players
didn't see the game yesterday so i watched the highlights and accidentally caught kirsten interview dave amazing how everything is WE WE WE as he explains what happened i doubt his players are missing it and he'll be exposed sooner or later
