@nickgroke Nick Groke Retweeted Pedro Moura Said Nolan Arenado: "We can't worry about the Dodgers. They're probably never gonna lose again. We just have to deal with that. We just have to do our jobs."
Indeed. Interesting to contemplate a team with Arenado and a bp with a reasonable ERA...a true super team, I think.
So many positives with this team Not gonna lie though... ...I hate watching Confident Walker pitch. Considering just recording this one.
The sky may be the limit for Buehler, but I think the hype and accolades are premature. He throws way too many pitches, averaging just over 5 innings a start -- and the bullpen has lost three of his starts after he departed. He needs to learn to pitch to contact. Not an uncommon problem for a young pitcher, but it would benefit everyone if it would change sooner rather than later. I see us losing two of three this series -- we'll win Ryu's game, lose Maeda's, and the pen will blow's Buehler's 5 IP start tonight.
I don't want to sound negative on Buehler, he's got +++ potential. I just think he needs to refine some stuff. Pretty sure Kershaw had the same pitch count problems when he started out, so I'm optimistic Honeycutt can get him straightened out eventually.
FUCK, I wanted the Dodgers to get Epsino! Stupid fucking Indians. Also, the Rockies just drafted a kid with +/++ power... that will be interesting.
Robbie fucking Ray. Same result, different season. Sad...and amazing if you really think about it. Constant dominance over us.
Nice to finally get some power from the right side though, will be interesting to see what #31 brings.
I guess like Freese said, running bases is generally not his strongest feature. He sure makes a wide turn crossing third.
