he really is tonight boone pointed out what we've all seen time and time again -- puig late on a hittable pitch right down the middle and he's still a sucker for sliders down and away out of the zone
Really not sure how a manager looks the rest of his players in the eye after penciling Puig's name into the lineup if Joc/Ethier/SVS/Trayce are healthy and available.
What's also frustrating is that Kershaw was going to be pulled in the top of the 8th for Crawford if AJ got on base (unless Crawford on deck was a ruse). We should never pull Kershaw strictly for offensive reasons when we have the lead, let alone for Crawford. I shouldn't be rooting for a player on our team to get out, but that's what I found myself doing.
Sometimes, it seems the Dodgers and their fortunes, controlled ones or uncontrolled ones, make you defy the laws of baseball nature.
Yeah...he's been alarmingly flaccid for quite a while now. He sure gets a lot of mileage out of the two/ three hits he gets a week. When they run promos and spots, invaribly you get a Kershaw montage of some sorts which is logical, but then you get Puig, Puig, Puig. Doing this, doing that, eating, smiling, warmup swings, etc. Its like sports Cosmopolitan with him. A fashion layout. There's multiple players on the team that deserve more attention, imo, but I guess research shows Puig is the one people wanna see.
Who is worse. Yasiel the showpiece? FO the showmen? You the marks who care who gets more attention on tv promos? In wrestling who is worse HHH, Vince McMahon, or the people who watch and get worked up at what they do. Protip... Sports is entertainment. Its not real.
agreed and i too was rooting for aj to make an out i don't hate roberts but he's a rookie manager, and that was a rookie mistake decision
