    I don't know. I've never been to Seattle except to drive to the airport, which isn't really in the city.

    Seattle is beautiful.
    It's on the water, and things like trees and plants grow there, making it green rather than the default brown of most western cities.

    Terra Haute, Indiana was one of the ugliest places I ever wound up in...and there are parts of Newark, NJ I wouldn't reccommend for a stroll.

    Durham, NC is a confounding place.

    It can be both beautiful and nauseous in the space of a few blocks. Crime rate is through the roof too.

    Bad cities, whatever "bad" is to each of us, are a dime a dozen. What about great cities?
    For me, it's been Vancouver, Victoria and London, with most fun and cultural enjoyment.
    Several cities in Europe are fascinating and Vegas has been a blast at times. Love New Mexico, too...when I was there anyway. NYC is electric and stands alone in many ways. l never got to NZ's turf...but hope to get there one day, if I'm lucky.

    I like Manhattan. Electric is definitely a good word to describe it.

    I really enjoyed Berlin too. A lot of the same energy of NYC, but cleaner and more relaxed (beer gardens) at the same time.
